Orissa Association for the Blind Bhubaneswar celebrates the
International Women’s Day on 8th march 2016.
INTERNATIONAL Women’s Day was observed with its true flavour and glory
under the chairmanship of Sj. Jugal Kishore Pradhan, Vice-President,
OAB in the premises of Orissa Association for the Blind, Bhubaneswar
at which Hon’ble SCPD Dr. Minati Behera , Member of Juvenile Justice
Board Smt. Jayshree Mohapatra , Smt. Rajalaxmi Dash , President Blind
Women’s Association. Dr, Santosh Panigrahi. Asst Director IGNOU
Bhubneswar, Mr. Muralidhar Das Lecturer, TCTVH graced the occasion as
Chief Guest and Hon’ble Guests respectively. General Secretary Mr.
Bihari Naik of Orissa Association for the Blind enlightened on the
importance of the day. Miss Pravati Panda, Parbati Dhal and Mamata
Mishra, women members of the association focused on the opportunity
and difficulties of the Blind women and suggested thereof for their
alleviation. Mr. Himansu Bhuyan, the speaker of the occasion gave
stress on the grandeur position of Women as promised by nature and
they are to sustain it and called for pulling together and live
together and to make the world loveable and livable.
