Re: [AI] How to stop auto numbering in MS word 2003

2011-10-30 Thread Sneha Nandakumar
Hi, When we once activate the number/bullet, if we hit enter, the
number/bullet comes automatically in the next line. If we don't want
the bullet/number in that line, we must repeat the step of giving
backspace or selecting none button as far as MS Word 2003 is
concerned. At the same time, if it is MS Word 2007, another way is to
press enter twice and the bullet/number is gone.

With regards,
Sneha.

[AI] Urgent help needed regarding OpenBook

2011-05-17 Thread Sneha Nandakumar
Hello Access Indians,

Greetings to you all! I usually scan my study materials and read them.
I was using ABBYY Fine Reader, but now I have switched to OpenBook. My
doubt is that, if we change the settings in OpenBook, how to save the
settings? I tried the Save the Settings option, but the settings are
not getting saved. What could be the problem? Please help me.

With regards,
Sneha.

[AI] Query about gmail

2010-11-16 Thread Sneha Nandakumar
Hello friends,
My greetings to all!
The message is pretty long, since I have brought forth the whole problem.
I have a query regarding gmail.
It is this. When we type the email addresses in the edit box, if it is
a new address, we have to type the full address. But, if it is an
already existing address in our contact list, we need not actually
type the full address. We have to type only the first few characters
of the address and then press the tab key, it automatically comes into
the edit box. This used to work well with me until a few days back.
But, now even if I type the first few characters of the email address
and press the tab key, the address is not coming to the edit box.
What could be the problem?
Please guide me.

Yes, even I feel that we must go in for online petition or some other
similar methods to rectify this problem. I have this problem more
often. If I have to send some important materials to my friends, it is
not as easy as it was. We must find a quick solution for this. It is
the problem of a community, so we'll join hands in finding some
solution.

With regards,
Sneha.

[AI] About ABBYY FineReader

2010-10-30 Thread Sneha Nandakumar
Dear Access Indians,

I have a query regarding scanning using ABBYY FineReader. I'm using
ABBYY FineReader version 9. When we scan, the page numbers are not
displayed in the scanned document. In some cases it is important to
have the page numbers of the text. Is there any method to make the
page numbers visible in the document?

Also I have another doubt regarding gmail. It is, when I get an email
with a picture in it, I'm able to view the picture. But, when I
forward the same email to someone, they are not able to see the
picture. Why does this happen? Is it because we are using Basic HTML
view? Is there any way to rectify this? Please guide me on this.

With regards,
Sneha.

[AI] Doubt about copying and pasting text from webpages

2010-06-29 Thread Sneha Nandakumar
Hi friends,

I have been using Internet since past one year. But, my problem is,
while copying and pasting text from the webpage, we copy the entire
text and paste in a word document. But, is there any way to make the
text normal. That is, mainly how to remove hyperlink from the
document?

Thanks in advance.

With regards,
Sneha.
