Great news. Kudos to all the people who worked hard to make it happen.

Yes, you can book concessional ticket only in PWD quota. you can't book
concessional ticket in general quota. this concessional booking should also
be extended to general quota. If PWD quota is full and anyone wish to book
concessional ticket with general quota if vacancy is their, he ccan't.

However, it is a successful effort made by your team. In AC chair car
it is very dificult to find the respective seat for blind alone. Now in
vande bharat this quota will provide seat near to the door.

 Dear All,

Thank you for your kind wishes. As you all know, despite the allocation
of four seats for persons with disabilities on the Vande Bharat train, we
initially faced significant challenges in booking them. At one point, there
were even threats on the AccessIndia platform.

For the past six months, I have been relentlessly fighting this issue,
consulting with numerous activists and lawyers, and filing multiple
complaints with the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Persons with
Disabilities. Additionally, I sent numerous emails to railway officials.
Even those familiar with railway activism and NGOs informed me that such
issues typically take a long time to resolve, as the railways are not
 easily responsive.

However, after months of effort, we finally achieved a breakthrough.
Just yesterday, around ten people who previously couldn't book tickets were
able to do so and avail of the concession.

That said, our fight isn't over yet, as the concession is currently
limited to only the four reserved seats. The next steps involve consistent
 pressure for further improvements.

For those attempting to book tickets, please search for the train and
ensure you only select the "PWD quota" option without choosing any other
concessions. Then, fill in the details, and it should allow you to book
 successfully.

If anyone encounters any issues, feel free to reach out to me at
 9463668196.

 Best regards,
 Danish Mahajan

Re: [AI] Calling mac users: Has anyone tried typeahead ai

2024-05-01 Thread Sourabh Yadav
Hey all,
I tried this on my PC. It seems to be very rudimentary and basic command
worked like open Finder or open directory and open some website.
However, it is very slow and it crashes often. I have a mixed reaction
while using this. Currently it seems good to have feature along with
VoiceOver.

I would like to know what is all your opinion of having an AI screen
reader. Did you have used it in the past? Can we ideate upon this as a
community?
As I am facing a lot of usability issues on getting used to screen reader.
Can we have a call regarding the same.

Regards
Sourabh
