Hello

First of all we would like to mention here that, we have mentioned
already our E-mail Id of radio retina India in all our radio shows and
 also in the announcement
mails.
If any one have any concern or suggestion regarding the radio show
then he or she should have contacted us on that.
If we would have not responded through that E-mail ID then you could
have discussed this on public forum like this.
Though we are responding on the issue here now, but
we would like to suggest that all the further communications should
be directed to our official E-mail iD instead.

We haven't said anything that has been given in your e-mail.
All that we told in our show was exactly which was disseminated on
various informationchannels.
Looks like you have wrong information, as we already spoke to pune's
coordinator on 25th night.

You should be aware that the aim of retina india is to bring all
together and make an inclusive society,.retina india never states to
be exclusive.

Hence perhaps you are unable to understand the motive of retina india.

Anyways, we expect that all the further communications will be
directed to our official ID,
Which is

  Dear all,
you are aware of the fact that retina india pune chapter organized a picnic
to mahabaleswar on the occasion of world retina day.
The motive of pune chapter was to spread awareness amongst the people that
visually impaired people can travel alone and are not always dependent on
sighted people. However, the motive declared on retina radio show was totally
misconceptualized. I feel sorry to say that the radio team even did not bother
to consult our coordinator before giving any information on the radio. We don't
understand the reasoning behind the statement The pune chapter had gone to
mahabaleswar and spoke about retinal diseases . needless to say that within 19
VI people and only 3 sighted people, we VI people manage all by ourselves. We
did Boating and horse riding. and one of our member rode the horse by himself.
please can the radio team explain this statement?
  Thanks and regards,

Re: [AI] [SayEverything] Yesterdays radio retina india show

2010-09-29 Thread mahesh.khosla

Thanks dear mam.

As I've already mentioned in my previous e-mail, that all the concerns
related to radio should be directed on the official ID of radio retina
india, i was expecting to receive this mail on that ID from a prudent
and well matured person like you.

The questions related to pune chapter were supposed to be asked about
second Octobers show of rradio retina india, hence we have planned to
take it some other time.

The information broadcasted about pune chapter on 26th was exactly
what has been disseminated through various information channels,
including e-mails on maling lists.

You might like to remember our call on your skype ID on 25th night
when two of your friends have been talking to us regarding radio show,
You have told regarding your picnic during it including the time of
arrival and departure.
I did not find it appropriate to ask anything else after that.

Here i'd like to mention that no further mail from my side will be
responded on the list and i humbly request you to have all the further
communications on the official ID of radio retina india.
Hope you can understand the value of time for others and won't wish to
waist time of other list mates in your personal issues.

regards Maheshinder

[AI] Free licence for the software USB Safely Remove

2009-08-20 Thread mahesh.khosla

Hello friends.
U can get this software free, read, get licence and use it.
USB Safely Remove. So far I've never seen a USB device managing software
that is so advanced like USB Safely Remove. It is a neat and reliable
replacement for the standard 'Safely Remove Hardware' tool with unique
feature Return Device Back! and an ability to know what prevent a device
from being stopped. The program saves time and extends abilities of active
users of hot-plug devices (USB, SATA, FireWire, PCMCIA).

This program has tons of features such as a handy menu to stop devices,
keyboard shortcuts to safe removal, autorun program on device connection or
disconnection, ejecting memory cards rather than the card reader, hiding
drives of empty card reader slots, command line to safe removal, Stopping
via disabling, and the latest one that's being added is Return Device
Back!.

From August 19th - 25th, 2009, everyone can get a free license for version
4.1 of the award-winning program USB Safely Remove. You still have around 5
more days to get your free license. So hurry and get it while you still can!

To get your free USB Safely Remove v4.1 genuine registration code, just go
to their promo page at http://safelyremove.com/giveawayweeka9.htm. Make su
re you enter your full name (nicknames or just names or other alphabets are
not accepted), a working email address and click the I want the license
button. You should then see a message saying that you will get your license
within 24 hours or earlier. For my case, I got it immediately in my Gmail.
Finally, download the latest version of USB Safely Remove v4.1.5.806 setup
file usbsafelyremovesetup_4-1-5.exe and install. Enter the registration name
and registration code to license the program.

What are you going to do with VMware? Basically it is for data centre
virtualisation though they also claim to virtualise everything. And as
far as I know it is used extensively in enterprise environments.

I've used VMware and find it to be fairly accessible. Make sure that you
set
up the sound card correctly on your virtual machines so that you can
install

and run jaws on them. By default, the basic machine image has the sound
option turned off.

I have used virtual machines installed on several other virtualization
platforms but haven't worked with the virtualization console itself, so,
cannot say how accessible those are.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [AI] My opinion On South-Delhi Job Ad

 Honorable members,

I am presenting, here, my opinion about this Delhi Job Ad. I fully
agree with the opinions of our honorable members who are more experienced
and who might have seen many more such incidents in their life than me.
Some have said, this is the third time such notice has been posted. I
don't know this because I have been recently enrolled and did not check my
mail for about two months after I have been subscribed to this list. Only
in the recent times I am taking interest in AI postings.

It is, indeed, a good idea to protest to such things. But protest
should not be for the sake of protest.

In the first place, there is no transparency in this issue. We all
must understand that if there is no transparency in a matter, the results
will also be shady. Gone are the days when people used to simply
compromise in their lives and live quietly. In software industry, for
example, transparency is slowly taking precedence in the form of
open-source packages in preference to close-source packages. If we use a
close-source package we may never know where a particular bug has
occurred. Other technicians may also be helpless as they have no access to
the code. Java has now became open-source.

Now you may be wondering how that relates to this Ad. I used that as
a metaphor to explain the present issue. Instead of simply saying that
some college in Delhi requires lecturers, he might have clearly explained
the complete details such as the name of the College and the exact nature
of the job. (BTW, the reply of Mr. Mittal is also harsh and vague.)

Coming to recruitment, if they take a competent candidate, then,
there is no problem. If they take an incompetent candidate, they, will be
the sufferers, not we. In the second case also there is no need for us to
bother. We must be committed to what we do and increase our abilities.
Then, no one can stop us from achieving what we want to achieve. If we
have confidence, we can build our own career instead of roaming around
those state-run institutions and wasting our time in petty litigations.

This is, strictly, my own opinion and I never insist upon anyone to
accept it. I also beg pardon from those whose feelings I have hurt by
posting this. I also welcome comments from other readers of this list.

  Venkat

If you are using K1000, it has a speech engine called voiceware and it
 is
a bit closer to human voice. But unfortunately it doesn't get installed
automatically with K1000 since the speech engine is sent out only to
 their
customers. It works only with K1000 version 8 and later. So If you want
 to
try it out, I can make an effort to upload it on the sendspace and
 forward
 you the link.

 Best Regards,

 Vetri.
