Document protection is applicable for those documents which are not generated
by your system and come through other sources, but in this case, even a fresh
excel sheet was behaving like this, anyway, the concerned person has now
formatted his system and things seem to be going well for at least time being.

  One more thing came in mind that may be the cause as wel.
  Disable the protected view in excel by eather pressing f2 or f12.
  Jaws has problems reading protected documents while nvda works well in the
same situation

[AI] A Strange Excel Problem

2016-06-07 Thread Vikas Kapoor
Friends, this is an Excel query from one of my friends, whose mails do not
appear to be reaching on the list.
According to him, while moving the cursor keys on an Excel sheet, JAWS does not
seem to be moving from one cell or row to another and it completely goes
silent. The problem started appearing in suddenly from yesterday onwards.
Please note a complete reinstallation of JAWS along with reinstalling different
versions of Office has already been performed several times. Currently, he's
running Windows 10 with Office 2013. The same problem he's not confronting when
using NVDA.
Thanks.
