Harish,
Yes, that can be done; but it would be good for more questions for low
vision, for instance, there can be certain jobs where user do not require
computer but will be able to perform with low vision. Unless the survey is
limited to use of technology alone.

At this point of time there is difficulty in adding a field.
May we instead, mention using screen magnifier on the last item in suggestion
field. This is a free field and can take any length

sir, we would be very greatful to you. not only this particular issue, but,
even the blind employees of public sector banks have not been nominated for
the regular internal training programmes, held by the training centres in
banks. don't know about other sectors.

Bhavani and others,

That's a valid point. However, you guys those are in the banks can do
something about. You can start informal. One thing you can do is to
organize an hour session to co-workers, possibly including those who are
responsible for web based products, during the session, you cn introduce
web accessibility what, why and a bit about how... You can also
demonstrate those products with assistive technologies and explain how
accessibility can also benefit other users. Remember, you should talk in
a

constructive manner and with details but not in a complaining approach.

I can do such presentations on Saturdays on request with a fee.

Good luck,

I raised the issue of accessibility before the ED of PNB, but, i the
matter has gone after a big dinner. however, i will participate on
survey and my wishes for success is with you. if any assistance will be

Dear Friends

Visually challenged bank employees are facing inaccessible work
environment in banks.

Particularly CBS and other softwares used in banks are many a times
not made accessible for us.

We have decided to persue the matter vigorously.

However, for this, we require tangible data about inaccessibility in
banking.

So, friends, do share your experiences and fill in the survey about
the subject hosted at:

As you all can appreciate this is of utmost importance, so do take out

kept moving from 1 desk to another.

Nice to see that bankers have initiated it.
I assure the support from the legal community whenever and where ever required.

Thanks,

i have already done sir, but, not that way as you suggested. I proved myself
among my colleagues and authorities that any job on the computer can't be
done by sighted people, I am called for final solution. e.g. we enter the
salary of one institute have 300 employess. this job can be done at one
stroke. while uploading the salary each and every time my sighted colleagues
get strucked on it. finally, i give them instructions and they do the job
for me because the function is inaccessible with jaws. in mass level, it is
difficult to organise such meeting. any outside agency can approach the bank
to organise such thing.

Remember, you should talk in a
constructive manner and with details but not in a complaining approach.

I can do such presentations on Saturdays on request with a fee.

Good luck,

Dear Friends

Visually challenged bank employees are facing inaccessible work
environment in banks.

Particularly CBS and other softwares used in banks are many a times
not made accessible for us.

We have decided to persue the matter vigorously.

However, for this, we require tangible data about inaccessibility in
banking.

So, friends, do share your experiences and fill in the survey about
the subject hosted at:

until the web content accessibility guideline 2.0 not be followed, the
accessibility issue can not be resolved. unfortunately, in our system the
designation carries override effect on knowledge. if the employee is lower
on designation and having sound knowledge, nobody will listen him. I raised
the issue of accessibility before the ED of PNB, but, i the matter has gone
after a big dinner. however, i will participate on survey and my wishes for
success is with you. if any assistance will be required from my side on this
matter, i will always be available. thanks.
