Across internet. Vista/win7 (not server). Enabling remote desktop on
client PCs and connecting wouldn't be easy (will need their IP). And I
think
client system should have JAWS installed for jaws to work in remote
desktop?

This is for remote support etc however it is not urgent or really needed,
wanted to explore whether accessible remoting is possible in any simple
way.

Thanks,

Hi,

You would need jaws installed on the computer you want to connect to.
Serotek is your best option right now since it is screen reader independent.

[AI] Accessible remote PC access?

2010-03-19 Thread niran

Hi all,
Does anyone here know any accessible remote PC access software other
than JAWS tandom? The main issue with JAWS Tandom is that it requires
JAWS 10+ and of course, JAWS.
There are many programs which allows remote PC access, I wanted to know
whether any of the software is screen reader friendly And does not
require screen readers to be installed on client machine.

Thanks,

Hi,

Your only other option is Saretek's remote access solution. None of the
other programs such as team viewer etc work.

For the sarotek solution see
