Hi Pranay, Netflix is d only o.t.t platform which provides the audio
description feature. However Amazon prime tried first time this feature.
But when I hear the audio description it was only description not movie
with dialogues and background music, Amazon still needs tu to work hard on
this feature. but when it comes to audio description Netflix is the one and
only e platform available for us. If you have Sony Bravia TV I want some

[AI] Amazon Prime Video

Hi all,

I Assume the below updates are not widely known hence thought to share with all 
which many of us were waiting for and I also seek  further clarity on the same.

 

Over this weekend I discovered that the Amazon Prime Video app on android TV 
has become quite accessible with Talkback on my Sony Bravia TV. While I was 
checking accessibility of its search feature, I also came across a Hindi movie 
in my search results titled ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ with audio description (AD); it was 
a treat to watch this accessible film starring Amitabh Bachhan. Encouraged by 
this I tried looking for more video content with AD and figured out that one 
can do so using the elaborate search feature on Amazon India website. The 
direct link to search  Prime Video content in Amazon India is at 
https://www.amazon.in/s?i=instant-video 
 &ref=nb_sb_noss. 
Interestingly here  in the section of audio description which has a list of

Dear friends

Do you know that Amazon Prime Video  provides audio description option in
US? However, the same facility is not made available in India. They have
audio description tracks for many of their movies and TV Shows. However,
This facility has  switched off in India. Thus what we request is that you
should contact customer care of Amazon and register complaint about this. I
have registered my complaint about this but nothing will move there just by
one complaint.
