Dear All,

Regarding validity of card mist of zone allow 5 yers only. though Circular
have different version.. Better not to extend any argument.

Railway will follow 5 years by default may be few zone provided mora than(
till date am not aware of it) if so pls share me such updates

It's a pilot project started since implement no amendment , clarification
or policy related updation done so as safe side 5 years bracket applied.

1) have Disability Certificate from District Hospital.

2) Then find your concern zone / division have any online link or not

3) if not filed up form ( trail mail)along with other kyc and approach to
COMMERCIAL Section

Address ( Sr DCM / DCM) , Howrah Div , Eastern Zone  ( example for WB)

rest 30-60 days. Will get I card.

Do you have the document to support permenant and 10 years old
disability card? What I understand is that the validity of your e-card
is decided by the concession certificate that you produce to the
railway authority. If you want life time card, then the concession
certificate issued by the doctor also should state the same. Without
which and without circular/GO, it is worthless to argue with railway
officials.

when I asked this to the railway official ,I was told the lifetime
validity is only for concessional certi which is used at the counter
and not for the online card. He was not willing to listen to anything
else.

Finally I applied it on 2nd September, 2021 and my card got ready on
28th September, 2021. But the problem is that as per railway guideline
those who are more than 25 years old they should get 10 years validity
in case of permanant disability and those who are more than 35 years
they should get life time validity in case of permanat disability. But
still railway is issuing the card only with 5 years validity.

As far Master circular  circulars issued dated 19/03/2015 vide No.18 of
2015 vide No.2011/TG-1/10/e-ticketing for disabled /Pt-1
no separate format mentioned , hand written also to be accepted even if I
applied manually .

However later Zone may have decided any specific format  sharing one of
found made changes accordingly Division or Zone wise .

Hi Everyone,

Today I made railway concession certificate from my District hospital.
And now I am looking for the specific application format to submit in
DRM office for railway smart card along with other relevant documents.
I got one format from
https://divyangjan-rail.in/
But it was in Hindi. I am looking for English format. Because last
time one of my friend submitted other language format and railway
issued card for him in Tamil. And because of this whenever he wants to
use the card and book the ticket, he has to type his name in Tamil
only. So, to avoid this I required English format.

Can someone tell me from where I can download English format. Or if
someone has kindly sent to me.
