Dear friends, it is true that that seats should be reserved for the
handicapped. But let us ask a question to ourselves that how many of us are
concerned with the welfare of the other handicapped after they get a high
paying job Let us forget the self complacentattitude and should do something
that would truly empower the handicapped. Friends express your views and
suggest some concrete measures that can be taken in this regard. {Please do
not treat this matter out of the access India concern

Dear Friends,

Now that the elctions are over for 543 seats for the Lok Sabha there are two
seats reserved for Anglo Indians. The British have gone and I do not think
Anglo Indians should be given such reservation now. It is pertinent now that
all NGO's involved with work for the handicapped should take the lead in
asking for the reservation of two seats for Anglo Indians to be scrapped and
the two seats to be reserved for the handicapped.

Kindly pass on this message to all NGO's in the field of disability for
urgent action.

With kind regards

Felix

There is no harm in making 543 seats into 545 seats if there is a problem
with scrapping the Anglo Indian seats.
