Re: [AI] I-Stem app launched for document accessibility
Hello Kartic sir, I want to share the feedback regarding the ISTEM app after using it for some days. First, the app is very accessible with talkback, I haven't yet found any sections where talkback fails to read out necessary controls. I am highlighting this point because earlier apps designed with such purpose have turned out to be inaccessible. The app's user interface is very simple and clean. The second thing, I am impressed with the image recognition ability of this app. It beautifully converts handwritten text from images into readable format. Till now, I have used apps that could only convert typed format text but this is really good. Yes, there were some small grammatical errors due to which talkback spoke a bit of gibberish but that is hardly 10 or 15%. The conversion was properly understandable. I also converted a large PDF with handwritten text. There as well, it did a pretty good job. I haven't tried the rest of the features yet but will update once I use them. But this is a complete step forward in terms of accessibility. regards On Mon, Mar 28, 2022 at 1:21 PM Kartik Sawhney wrote: > Hi all, > > I'm happy to share that I-Stem launched our Android app for document > accessibility this Friday.
