to the State, members of the All Odisha Student Union of the
Visually-Impaired discussed various issues and placed various demands
at a Press conference here Wednesday.

They discussed on the alleged scam in the Inclusive Education for
Disabled at Secondary Stage (IEDSS) implementation in Odisha, election
manipulation in the Odisha Association for the Blind (OAB),
disinvestment in PSUs, chit fund scam, misuse of the SC and ST Act by
the OAB, abuse on visually-impaired girl students at a computer
training centre, corporal punishment to blind students and
misappropriation of funds sanctioned under the Braille Transcription
project.

Many physically and mentally tortured victims briefed reporters about
their grievances.
