Re: [AI] Problem in reading Hindi content of scanned documents
I am fine, thank you sir, The actual problem is that to where from get Hindi fonts? And the second thing is that I wish Lekha make read the scanned Hindi documents and as per the discussion, there is no OCR which recognizes Hindi characters. And besides, I think making changes in the option mentioned by you in control panel, enables us to type and then read Hindi contents through the programmes such as SAFA. Isn’t it? [AI] Problem in reading Hindi content of scanned documents
Hello list members, I have installed Lekha (real speak solo) for reading Hindi on my PC. Whenever I visit any Hindi site, it is fine and reading properly both English and Hindi contents but, when I am trying to read any scanned Hindi document its not. I guess it is happening because Hindi font would be installed with web pages but same is not the case with my PC. So, please guide me that which font to install in my PC, and where from to get it? An instruction manual would be greatly helpful in this regard. -- Thanks and regards Himanshu Sahu Reach: 09051055000 Voice your thoughts in the blog to discuss the Rights of persons with disability bill at: http://www.accessindia.org.in/harish/blog.htm To unsubscribe send a message to accessindia-requ...@accessindia.org.in with the subject unsubscribe. Re: [AI] Problem in reading Hindi content of scanned documents
As far as I know, there is no Hindi OCR programme so far which can scan Hindi document and convert it into Hindi text. Maybe someone is working on it somewhere.
