Re: [AI] SBI Visa Card Registration

2012-09-18 Thread Amar Jain
@Vikas Sir: I respect your views, however whatever I said was based on
googling. And according to my search, the distinction is now purely of
historic in nature. I am still unable to take the opinion that the
maistro card is without expiry date. But since I don't have one, I
would prefer not to argue.

@Mukesh Bhaiya: CCAvanue should accept your card without any issues.
In fact Tata's recharges are done using CCAvanue. Can we have a
telephonic discussion for sorting this out?

This clearly shows where do the search engines stand today while acquiring
the sources of information. I'm having both the cards at this moment and
both of them aren't too old...so first hand information!

Re: [AI] SBI Visa Card Registration

2012-09-18 Thread mukesh jain
hello,
i will surely get back to you. actually, i was wondering about the
differences between visa and maestro card. to confirm the same i have
contacted one SBI local official and he told me that there is no much
diffence except its logo appeared on it. its just the brand that
matters that's what he had to say. don't know exactly what is right.
any way, i had earlier tried some sites like
www.easymobilerecharge.com
to make the payment with net banking wich was successful but just to
test my present problem, i had even tried making the payment with my
visa card but that was unsuccessful with the same remarks.
i guess to accept the payment even this site uses the services of
ccavenue as i get the regular mails for my order status quoting the
order reference by ccavenue.
thanks,
mukesh.
