Rajesh, all,

A quick search resulted in the following links.
http://content.photojojo.com/diy/the-talking-photo-frame/
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Living-Images-Recordable-Talking-Photo/dp/B001HJOJQE

I doubt any of these are accessible but the components for making these are
inexpensive and the interface can be made accessible. If someone wants to
start, then see the following link for more information.

Re: [AI] Talking photo frames

2015-12-11 Thread Amar Jain
Dear Rajesh Sir,

My response is slightly different from what you are actually wanting.
but when I wanted to present a photo frame to my dad with my and his
photo and a song recorded in my voice "yeh toh sach hai ke bhagvan
hai", I got to know about photo frames in which I could record voice
notes on every photo.

>From the point of view of this topic, the only difficulty which
remains in such cases is to reach to that particular photo in the
absence of any speech assistance.

I don't know if there are Bluetooth enabled photo frames which can be
controlled using an app installed in the smartphone which can be good
workaround.

Re: [AI] Talking photo frames

2015-12-10 Thread Asudani, Rajesh
Sir, you said Audio file is residing on the device.

I think you mean the device is the device with which we touch the label and it
speaks out because we have recorded the audio and it is there on the device and
label corresponds to it.

Then, how to record the voice from a recording on the device in the first place?
Won't it be too feeble if we record it externally from a played recording?

Secondly, I wish to hear the photoed person speak out when I simply touch the
photo, and not carry a special toucher for that.

Anyway, I am ordering sonic labeler from Saksham, let me try it out.

Hi
Let me explain, actual voice is not embedded into the label really. The label
is having a unique number similar to a barcoded. A audio file is associated to
that label. It can be any audio file as long there is this association. The
audio file is really residing on the device.

This is application of the technology and nothing new need to be done. The
process is really simple.

You are right.

But I am not talking here about the description of the photograph, but the
voice of the person themselves who are there in the photo.
For instance, if I have my parents' photo hung on the wall.
A sighted can see and immediately connect, whereas for us it is the dead paper.
So, if I touch the photo, my mom should speak out, as I already have her voice
and can embed it in the photo frame.
I can listen to her recording anyway also, but it is rare and one sees the
photo daily, so why not here it as well?

Hope I am clear.

Yes, penfriend or sonic labeler can be used to record descriptions of photos on
albums, each individual film contains which photos and so on.
This way we can show albums to others by ourselves, I think.
Haven't tried any of these.

If it is not there, I think it is very easy to make such a frame and I will
have it made.

Would welcome ideas on availability or manufacture of such a contrivance.

Re: [AI] Talking photo frames

2015-12-10 Thread Kotian, H P
Hi

It can be done using the audio labler like penfriend. You can put such labels on
all your photo albums and have someone voice tag one time.
You can use the device in many such cenerio's.

Subject: [AI] Talking photo frames

Friends
Do they exist?

I mean a photo frame fitted with a chip to play the voice of the person in
photo upon touching the frame anywhere?

It would really give us the sense of the person in photo..

If it is not there, I think it is very easy to make such a frame and I will
have it made.

Would welcome ideas on availability or manufacture of such a contrivance.
