[AI] information required about data cards and mobile modem.

2012-03-03 Thread gufran
dear friends, i have came to know that various mobile service providers
giving internet service on a low cost on a 2g network. such as in BSNL
on a recharge of rs 99 one can avail up to 2 GB usage. and in reliance
on a recharge of 99 one can avail internet service up to 6 GB for a month.
therefore i would like to know that does these types of services can
fulfill our needs? i have browsed some non mobile sites on a cell phone
and i got better result.
does these modems are able to provide sufficient speed for voice
chatting and downloading while using on a pc?
i know that these modem has not enough speed then broadband. but i came
to know that some of accessindian are using these modems therefore i
request experts to kindly throw some light.

you can get upto 10kbps download speed maximum with 2g connected with your
pc. you can also make voice calls on skype, but, it depends on network
resources at the time of calling.
