That way, the file/folder is changed to only online access and it doesn’t take up space on my computer’s hard disk. Next time I want to access the file or folder, I just press enter or use right click and use the make available offline option and it again downloads the data to my computer. Again I have to use free up space option after I access the data to change it to online only access. You may try these steps: Open task manager. Type in task in the windows search field and it should come up as one of the results. Press enter on it. This is a multipage dialogue box with 7 tabs. Press ctrl+tab thrice and the startup page should come up. The startup page lists all programmes that start automatically when the windows starts. Now use tab key to access the list of programmes on startup. Once on the list, use down arrow to locate one drive. Press application key on it and activate disable. It dows not have an ok button. So, simply press alt+f4 to close the windows. You should follow these steps with caution. Thus I have disabled a number of apps like one drive, droppbox, whatsapp etc. and they no longer start unless I want.
