I was not able to access emails from Imap server too. Finally, as Mr. Rajpal, the computer teacher in B R A suggested that I should generate an app password for less secure apps through gmail. For those who are still facing the problem, I am giving the process of generating password step by step. 1. Open Gmail and sign in. 2. Activate basic html view. 3. activate link list and find Google account by pressing letter G. 5. Activate two-step verication if not already done. 6. While in your gmail account, Search for App password generation. 7. Generate password and note the same for future use. Please note that Gmail has stopped supporting third party applications if you have not enabled your two step verification for your Gmail sign in.
