Re: [AI] Learning mobility in a week! Possible?

2014-08-04 Thread Tanya

Hey Vamshi,

I think it is all about practice and building confidence. I myself have had
just about 4 sessions with my instructor. So go for it.

Cheers!

 Dear friends,

I need to stay alone away from my home town for  the
 next year or so.
Till now, I haven't had any mobility training.  I can
 see little bit
during day time and only lights during nights.  I'd
 like to go for a
mobility training but can afford only a week or so.  Is
 it possible to
learn something in that period?   I need to
 talk to any NGO,
preferably in Banglore for the same.  Kindly throw your
 suggestions as
 to how to proceed.

Most of mobility training is actually practicing your regular routes and
learning the basic techniques. I think you can learn the basics easily in a
week. Things like walking in a straight line and getting the two tap
technique right will come with practice.
