to start with FTII?
On a bit broader level, although the law mandates AD and close captioning, we 
should also get the I ministry to take some affirmative steps on increasing 
accessible content on TV's.

There are many users who downloaded in the beginning and uninstalled it due
to least update over there.

IN South-Indian cinema, we did had Kabali Tamil movie for audio
description. It has been initiated from "Round-table" association and
Rotary club.
We can approach them and Radio mirchi have also partnered them to made it
possible.
Kindly approach Radio Mirchi or anyother who still support audio track
relay culture.
In South India, we suggest for Sooriyan or Red FM and HelloFM chennai.
I am ready to initiate or being a part of this.
Kindly update on the same on this proposal to proceed ahead on this
wonderful initiative.

Hi Dipti

To create the AD track, it should be taking a good deal of time. Is it then 
possible to have the AD while it is getting released?

Is it possible to start early, when the movie is being made? Is there any 
mechanisim to do so? I mean some formal mechanisim or grapewine is the only 
means? Is there any licensing or registration process involved before one 
starts a movie project?

Trying to think out of the box really. Who funds for the AD track?

Here's how XLCINEMA works:
We approach the producers/content owners, convince them to allow us to make the 
audio description track for their movies. Only when their permission is granted 
we can make the AD track and make it available my XLCINEMA app.
We were trying our level best to bring Article15 onboard but according to the 
content owner there is no demand for AD track. Thus, I have repeatedly 
requested to please write a review about the app which only proves the demand 
for AD tracks in Indai.
Hope we are on the same page now.

using the app for on YouTube?
Xlcinema makes AD tracks upon the content owners agreement so we need
approvals and permissions for the production houses.
The above link is for playstore/appstore. After downloading the app, one
can write a review. You comments and suggestions are important to create
awareness in the industry in proving the demand for AD tracks.

I too tried this app previously and, able to listen the audio
description on youtube movies as well.

After using this app, my suggestion is that,

all regional languages movies  audio description should be provided.

eagerly waiting for the audio description for the movie such as,
Malayalam movies, thamil movies, kannada movies, thelugu movies etc.

I personally had a poor experience regarding the audio ticket availability. 
I watched most of the movies even before the audio  ticket was made available

I understand the situation of the developers. 
I personally had a poor experience regarding the audio ticket availability. 
I watched most of the movies even before the audio  ticket was made available 
so that is the only issue I see from my side
Lets try if we can get the film industry people release the audio tickets more 
sooner.

The AD is released simuntaneously along with the movie launch. This app is made 
for that so that there is no wait for it.
Regarding it not being available for all movies. The issue is essentially there 
seems to be no numbers justifying budget towards it. This is essentially for us 
to show the numbers. One can get data how many downloads were there for each 
movies.   

So far we were in a chicken and egg dilemma. We have now broken free from it. 
It is possible to get exact umbers.
