Help finding a BASIC language Operating System

2002-07-14 Thread Charles Mikelson

Hello All:

I have been trying to locate some type of software to enter BASIC programs from some
older computer
magazines.

I have had no luck. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Charles

I don't know the answer to this, but here are a few tips
that will help others to help you ...

1. Set your computer date accurately.
Emails with old dates don't get noticed.

2. Stay on-topic for the list, eg:
How can I use email to get a BASIC interpreter?

3. Compilers and interpreters are hardware and operating
system specific. What are you using, and how old are
   the magazines?

Recommended skills:

1. Using Google and other search engines by email.
   Start with http://www.expita.com/search.html

2. Browsing and searching the Open Directory by email:
the Computers category is generally very good.
   The subcategory you need is
   http://dmoz.org/Computers/Programming/Languages/BASIC/

3. Searching FTPFind by email -- http://www.ftpfind.com/

4. Large downloads by email.
