Have a look at the unit test. That may provide some answers. Or google
up how to do digest auth in java. Digest auth isn't an acegi thing;
it's a standard.

hi you guys,

I was wondering if someone could provide a digest authentication client side
implemetation example or some related materials. I am not that familiar with
digest authentication, and curious to learn how the client side handle the
computation and send back its result.
