[Bug 100110] Re: 18 seconds ACPI delay while booting due to DSDT
Windows XP doesn't show this delay either, and an older kernel doesn't seem to be affected by this, as I've stated in the duplicate bug. -- 18 seconds ACPI delay while booting due to DSDT https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/100110 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- Come build with us! [Bug 100110] Re: 18 seconds ACPI delay while booting due to DSDT
OK, It would be better to find where the delay was introduced before contacting the developers (as it's something very old I doubt that it would be that easy to fix, so speed doesn't really matter). Can to tell me the version of a kernel for which you think custom DSDT are not needed, so I can check and confirm. I hope you can cut the list down to less than five - I don't want to spend a day rebooting ;) On Friday I will have the time to check, and I will be very happy if you can check it also. -- 18 seconds ACPI delay while booting due to DSDT https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/100110 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- Come build with us! But seems it was stripped, and increasing the bufsize for dmesg does not help much. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. -- Come build with us!
