git availability in AP repos

Hi

Is there a way to install git on AP from some repository. It would be nice to 
have at least this package available in the default repos (together maybe with 
tmux, synergy, etc.)

I don't see any packages for git on build.merproject.org so it would seem to 
make that available would require someone doing some packaging ...
