Re: can't delete filespace
According to the help for ANR0859E: User Response: Examine the server messages issued prior to this message to determine the source of the error. Issue the QUERY ACTLOG command to view the activity log and search for messages. If the error cannot be isolated and resolved, contact your service representative. Are there any other messages in the ACTLOG? Like maybe an ANR message? If not, sounds like a time to call Tivoli. If you can afford to take and keep your TSM server down, try an AUDITDB FIX=YES to see if you have any database corruption problems. O try a query occupancy on the node... you might find that you've already cleared its data for the most part BUT probably can't wipe it totally since the registry information is under that filespace. Re: Can't delete filespace
THis is common - started with the UNICODE filespace support - you can see that each filespace now has a numeric id, as well as a name. You can add the FSID parm to your delete command and it will work: DELETE FILESPACE NODENAME number NAMETYPE=FSID Or if you will do it through the admin GUI, it will work because the admin GUI adds the appropriate stuff. -Original Message- From: Anderson, Michael - HMIS To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 10/31/2002 3:45 PM Subject: Can't delete filespace We upgraded one of our clients from NT 4 to NT 2000 and then converted to ntfs and expanded C drive.
