Since PHP now is another Apache project (*grumble* ;-) ) this might be

and "Perl is not OO".  It would also be interesting to hear other
peoples 
views on any visual design methodologies as one of Java's selling points
is it can be modelled with UML and with the use of case tools such as
Rose 
this can make it particularly appealing.
