Hi Anash,

I have exactly the same problem. I have sent many emails to

This is critical for us (as it seems to be for many people on this forum).
Do you think you can help?

Many thanks,

Re: using the media service to avoid upload image for every image ad

2012-04-30 Thread Kevin Winter
Hi,
Actually, the AdGroupAdService makes this easier if another Ad already
has the image you wish. You can use the adToCopyImageFrom field of the
ImageAd object to tell it to reuse the Image of an existing ad:
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/latest/AdGroupAdService.ImageAd#adToCopyImageFrom

If the image does not already exist, you will have to upload it at least
once with the MediaService.

Re: Can the API access the campaign label?

2012-04-30 Thread Reed

I don't think this has anything specifically to do with whether the
accounts are being managed via an MCC account. The new labels feature is
not limited to MCC accounts. I can log into the AdWords account, the same
one that I pull data from via the API, and create labels. I think that the
first-pass requirement would be that the label data can be included in
reports. I know that this might not be easy, since it is possibly a
many-to-one relationship between the labels and the criteria. The next
level of need would be to retrieve the labels information at the
campaign, adgroup, etc., levels in order to understand the hierarchy that
has been created. Finally there is the need to actually manage the labels
via the API (campaignservice, etc) - creating, deleting, updating.

thanks,

Re: How can i validate TextAd for PolicyViolationError

Hi,
Using the validateOnly header will attempt some (but not all) of the

The matchType column is defined here:

Here's my request:

Is matchType supposed to be available in that report? If so, what do I need

Hello Anash

Thank you for getting back to me. MCC account number is 334 719 5535

Please make sure that the team considers the V3 of our projects sent to
their email on the 25th of april.
- Our project has evolved since we first asked for a token (early february)
- We have made sure that we fully respect the API TCs (we do not offer any
kind of competitive analysis anymore as it required using tools that scrap
the internet) as the API is vital to our new projects (we now focus on
building tools for our clients).
- We can send direct requests from existing (and hopefully) future clients
