Re: adwords without client api

2017-06-27 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Arch,

The AdWords API guides usually involve the use of client libraries and we
highly recommend its usage for ease of implementation at the user's end.
One notable advantage would be that through the use of client libraries,
users will no longer require to manually generate access tokens as they are
automatically
refreshed

.

As for using the AdWords API without a client library, you may refer to
this guide
 as
reference for the API call structure. I hope this has been helpful.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi,

Our team provides support for AdWords API related concerns only. Since your
current issue is more related to the Java client library, you may reach out
to the Java client library owners via this link

Re: Responsive Ads - Disk space limit per account?

2017-06-27 Thread 'Thanet Knack Praneenararat (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Timur,

There is a maximum size stated here
:

1 MB per image.
As long as you don't upload an image greater than the max size and also the
number of all images/gallery ad doesn't exceed 300, you shouldn't run into
any problems.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Best,
Thanet, AdWords API Team

Is it possible to use a custom http client when using google adwords java client library (googleads-java-lib)?

2017-06-27 Thread Hrish
Hi folks,

I'm creating adwords campaigns using the java client
 library published by
google. This works fine during development. However, when deploying my
service on production, all incoming and outgoing requests need to pass
through our own proxy. This proxy looks at some of the custom headers we
use internally and then forwards the request to the internet. My questions
are as follows:

 1. When I'm using the client library, I would like to be able to plugin my
own custom http client that makes the requests, is such a thing possible?
 2. In case I cannot do 1. , is it possible to set custom headers on the
requests that the client library makes ?

Thank you in advance!!

I'm afraid its not possible to set the dateRange or compare periods when
you use TargetingIdeaService to get search volume data and trends. At the
moment, the TargetingIdeaService returns the TARGETED_MONTHLY_SEARCHES for
the past twelve months. Please keep an eye on our blog
 for any
updates or announcements about this feature.

 Hi, Peter.

 We don't actually log the SOAP for these because the SOAP calls
 themselves aren't failing -- it's just that the status of the jobs are
 eventually getting returned as cancelled. As mentioned in the original
 post, some have no processing or other errors at all - just the status
 cancelled. Others have that status and have a single processing error:
 BatchJobService.INTERNAL_ERROR, with no other information in the
 processing
 errors. An example of the printout of all the fields we get for that error
 is:

 errorType:BatchJobProcessingError, trigger:,
 errorString:BatchJobProcessingError.INTERNAL_ERROR, fieldPath:,
 reason:INTERNAL_ERROR

 A couple example jobs from yesterday that return the error (along with
 being cancelled):
 450605098
 450816012

 A couple that have no error, but are just cancelled:
 450865617
 451028751

 All the ones listed in the original post fall into one of these two
 categories, I believe.

 Thanks,
 Greg

Hi Viviane,

Could you please pass me your SOAP logs (request and response) so that I

you are using.

Thanks,

Is it possible to set the Date Range and Compare Periods using TargetingIdeaService?

2017-06-27 Thread steve
Hello,

I'm using TargetingIdeaService to get search volume data and trends for a
particular keyword. Is it possible to set the Date Range (minimum and
maximum) for Average Monthly Searches like I can in the Keyword Planner?

Also, is it possible to compare with other periods (Previous period, Same
period last year, Custom) like I can with the Keyword Planner?

Steve

Re: Load an Ad By Id

2017-06-27 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Yes, AdId and Ad are not one of the supported fields for AdGroupAdService
.

Please see this document

 for
the list of supported fields for AdGroupAdService. You need to use the *Id*
field
in the predicate to filter based on the ID of an Ad.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: Incorrect search volume

2017-06-27 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Vaibhav,

Could you check if the clientCustomerId specified in the request header
belongs to a Test AdWords account? TargetingIdeaService

 and TrafficEstimatorService

 return
dummy data when used with test accounts
.

You'll need to make a request against a production account to get actual
data. If the clientCustomerId is that of a production AdWords account,
please provide a sample request and response log which returned incorrect
search volume and I'll take a look. Please use* Reply privately to author* when

Re: how to get Adwords report for third party user using Refresh and Access Token ?

2017-06-27 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

To use AdWords API to target an account, you need log in as a user who has
access to that account or its manager when you generate the refresh token.
You'll not be able to use the refresh token generated from your manager
account to target accounts that aren't linked to it. Please follow the
steps provided here

 to
generate the refresh token for the required account.

For the second question, could you check that the clientCustomerId provided
in the API request belongs to your AdWords client account and not your
Manager account? If it is, could you tell me which service you are trying
to use? If possible, please enable logging and provide the request and
response logs so I can take a look. Please use *Reply privately to author* when
responding.

Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Load an Ad By Id

2017-06-27 Thread dimitri
Hi All,

I want to manage Adwords Ads from my interface.

But I have a problem to get Ad detail from id.
I try to use predicate in selector with AdGroupAd but field 'AdId' or 'Ad'
is bad and I have an error.

So I don't know how I can get an Ad by id.

This is more information :
- I use PHP package
 - composer package version : "googleads/googleads-php-lib": "^27.1"
- Google version : v201705
- use Sandbox account

This is how I get ads from AdGroupId :

$adGroupAdService = $this->getGoogleService($session, AdGroupAdService::class);
$predicate = new Predicate('AdGroupId', PredicateOperator::IN,
['39244037650']);// TODO dynamic
$adGroupAds = $this->getGoogleData($adGroupAdService,
$this->getGoogleField('ad'), [], [$predicate]);
foreach ($adGroupAds as $adGroupAd){
var_dump($adGroupAd->getAd());
}

It works but it's the best way ? There are not other solution ?

And this is how I try to get an Ad by Id :

$adGroupAdService = $this->getGoogleService($session, AdGroupAdService::class);
//$predicate = new Predicate('Ad', PredicateOperator::IN, ['203114498124']);//
TODO dynamic
$predicate = new Predicate('AdId', PredicateOperator::IN, ['203114498124']);//
TODO dynamic
$adGroupAds = $this->getGoogleData($adGroupAdService,
$this->getGoogleField('ad'), [], [$predicate]);
foreach ($adGroupAds as $adGroupAd){
var_dump($adGroupAd->getAd());
}

There are no AdService class, so I try to use predicate and
AdGroupAdService to load Ad by id but fields 'AdId' and 'Ad' don't works.
This is error : [SelectorError.INVALID_PREDICATE_FIELD_NAME @
serviceSelector; trigger:'AdId']

I understand fields 'AdId' and 'Ad' are unavailable with AdGroupAd but how
I can do to load Ad by Id properly ?

Other information : I have no problem to load report by Ad

If you need more information tell me :)

Thanks

Hi Anash,

The latency has improved significantly for us, down to roughly 150% of what
it was pre-June-6. Thanks for your team's work so far!
Is this the new normal, or should we expect further improvements?

Cheers,

Re: Abnormally high number of cancelled/failed batch jobs

2017-06-27 Thread jordan
Hi Nadine,

I am currently facing the same situation as Greg in that all jobs I send
are automatically going to a Cancelled status. These jobs are for product
partitions.

A few example job ID's:

520125237
520125243
519862123
520125246
519445444
520125249
520125240

These are all for account 682-998-6792.

Could this be related to the same cause as Greg's issue?

Kind regards,
Jordan

Re: Getting error while load the data from adword API

2017-06-27 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Lakhan,

The INVALID_TOKEN_HEADER

 that
you are encountering indicates that you may not have specified a developer
token in your configuration file or it contains a typo. This said, you may
check by logging in to your AdWords account via the AdWords UI and going to
*Account
settings* > *AdWords API Center* and see if the developer token specified
there is the same as the one in your configuration file.

If the issue persists, please send me the generated SOAP request and
response via the *Reply privately to author *option.

Best regards,
Peter

Thanks V for your response.

Hi Naresh,

Apart from V's suggestion, you may also get this information via the
DateTimeZone

using the CustomerService

I hope this has been helpful and please let me know if you have any other
