Re: I am getting different clicks and impression values in the api report ,from the adwords dashboard values

2017-11-09 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

So I can further investigate this, can you provide your clientCustomerId as
well as your report definition
?

Also, can you confirm that in your AdWords UI, you have the same filters as
your report query? If so, then, kindly provide your UI screenshot so I can
check. Kindly use the *Reply privately to author* option when replying.

Thanks,
Vincent

Re: Changes made through the API

2017-11-09 Thread Péter Gerő
Hi Bharani,

Thanks for the detailed answer, I wasn't familiar with the "User" and
"Tool" filter types in the UI, I think these may have been added after last
time I have checked it ( didn't see any updates about this though ).
I couldn't find any way to do this automatically ( through
CustomerSyncService I'm able to filter only date, campaign and adgroup ids
), so is it possible only manually?
Is there any way - apart from our own logs - to get information about the
data downloaded through the API? ( "what did our tool have access to" )

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

If the Trial promotion failed, you need to check for asynchronous errors

You can then modify the trial and try promoting again. Could you try this

Re: RateExceededError How can I solve this error?

2017-11-09 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Milan,

The RateExceededError

 is
usually experienced when there are too many requests made to the API in a
short period of time. Since the rateScope here is ACCOUNT, it indicates
that the limit has been applied when an application makes high number of
requests on a single AdWords account and may trigger this error for
exceeding that limit. You'll need to wait for the amount of time specified
in the retryAfterSeconds

parameter before retrying the request. This said, you can mitigate this
error by taking a control of your application by following some of the
strategies mentioned here

.

Additionally, you can query for multiple keywords in a single get request
and it would be considered as one operation. You may refer to the Batch
targeting ideas

 and
the rate limits

documentation
for further reference.

Hi,

To upload conversions to multiple accounts, you will need to make separate
requests for each account with the respective client customer id in the
header. If you want to change the client customer id at the run time, you
can refer to this guide
.

You could also take a look at the ParallelReportDownload

 sample
for better understanding.

Trial campaigns move from promotion failed status

2017-11-09 Thread SP
Hi,

I am using the google adwords api v201708.
I have some trials campaigns and i change their status from ATIVE to HALTED
(with TrialService).
I want reactivate them again so I change the status from HALTED to
PROMOTING, but some of them failed and now are in PROMOTE_FAILED and now i
cannot move from this status to any other.

After read the official documentation about it I don't know how to change
this PROMOTE_FAILED status.
It is because this is an asynchronous process and somehow these campaigns
will automatically move to PROMOTED?
If not, how can I change this PROMOTED_FAILED status?

Thank you very much for your help!

Changes made through the API

2017-11-09 Thread Péter Gerő
Hi,

Is there a way to determine if a specific change in the account (
preferably logged and accessible in the change history ) has been made
through the AdWords API or manually ( through the UI or editor)?
We have a tool using the PHP client library, which performs several
operations ( reporting and updates as well ) after the user grants access
to its AdWords account, so by looking at the change history manually, the
user itself is displayed, and we don't have any way ( except the time and
date of the change, which is not sufficient ) to determine, if it was made
by our tool, or the user.
The reason behind it would be to give some information about our tools
activity to our clients.

Thanks,
Peter Gerő

Empty Account TimeZone ?

Hello !

We have a very peculiar case where the *AccountTimeZone *for a few accounts
is being returned as empty in the reports. We tried Account Performance as

Re: DISK_QUOTA_EXCEEDED

2017-11-09 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hello Roger,

The DISK_QUOTA_EXCEEDED

 error
is experienced if the currently executing batch job operations exceed 1GB
disk space limit. At any given time, an AdWords account can have up to 1GB
of uploaded operations across all of its batch jobs that have not yet
completed. You could check for the diskUsageQuotaBalance

 which
returns the disk quota balance of the batch job's customer in kB. You can
check this balance and cancel

 the
batch jobs in the AWAITING_FILE or ACTIVE status and retry the request or
you could wait until the size of pending operations falls below the limit
before creating new jobs.

Bharani, AdWords API Team

Hi Douglas,

This issue has been fixed. Both "natural recovery supplement" and "grief"

combining these with keywords which have stats should not cause any issues
now. Please let me know if you continue to see issues.

Re: Can I create campaigns under root manager account directly.

2017-11-09 Thread 'Vincent Racaza (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Hari,

You are correct that the difference with your code is only those methods.
However, I am not sure on why you are setting the tokenUrlServer. For the
AdWords API itself, the needed fields in order to create an AdWordsSession
is your credential (client ID, client secret, refresh token, developer
token). These are the four required fields.

For your two questions, please see answers below:

1)Is it mandatory to have client id , client secret and Refreshtoken to
generate access token to connect to adwords APIs or is there any other way
to do that.

Yes, it is mandatory to have client ID, client secret and refresh token to
generate the access token. As I have said, the access token is
automatically generated in the background using the client library. Client
ID and client secret are needed to generate the refresh token, and the
refresh token is needed to generate the access token, so all these
properties are required.

2)If I have client Id, client sect and developer token, Then can i connect
to any account if i have refresh token for that account. Should There be
any link between (client id , client secret and developer token) to the
refresh token of that account.

It is not the refresh token alone that is needed to access an AdWords
account. Every refresh token is associated to a client ID and secret, so
you cannot randomly match your client ID and secret with the refresh token
(e.g. from the other email address).

To answer your question, if the refresh token is the* correct refresh token
associated to your client ID and secret*, then you can access any AdWords
account as long as the *email address (associated to the client ID) is a
user with valid permission* in those AdWords accounts. If you will be using
a refresh token that is not associated to your client ID, then the API will
generate an error. If you'll target an AdWords account and the user is not
existing on that account, it will also generate an error.

Thanks,
Vincent

Hi.

I have a question.

Do google support automated rules api?

I couldn't find it.

I would be most grateful if you would teach about it.

Thanks.

Re: Ended/Removed Campaigns

2017-11-09 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Tony,

I'm a colleague of Ivan and I will be providing support for now. As for
your concern, could you confirm if you are using the CampaignService.query()

 method?
If yes, could you provide the generated SOAP request and response so I can
further investigate? You may reply using the *Reply privately to author*
 option.

Additionally, for any other future concerns with the implementation of the
AdWords API, it is preferable to create a new thread instead of opening an
old thread for better tracking.

Regards,
Peter

Re: Would I raise a limit executing adGroupCriterionService.mutate for 15.000 operations?

2017-11-09 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Josemy,

Since you already have standard access, you should be able to perform
unlimited number of operations. What you may need to take note however, is
the number of requests you make at the same time, which may result in
getting a RateExceededError. For more information on rate limits, you may
refer to this guide
.

Thanks and regards,
Peter
