Hi Stephen,

I would suggest downloading the entire v201806 to avoid missing other
dependency files or libraries and refer to the other guide links I provided.

Re: Upload business costs to adwords

2018-08-09 Thread 'Dannison Yao (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Javier,

Uploading business costs and custom columns are currently not supported via
the AdWords API. If you wish to learn more about the possible fields you
can use for custom columns, I would recommend that you get in touch with
the product experts in the AdWords Community Forum
.

I hope this helps.

Getting ERROR: GoogleAdsServerFault: Unmarshalling Error:[...]

2018-08-09 Thread Vivian zhang

Hello.

I am trying to upload offline conversion data to Google Adwords through
Google API using Python

However, I am encounter error:
GoogleAdsServerFault: Unmarshalling Error: [0.0222 5.8944
0.4278 ... 0.6444 0.0222 0.2333]

To be more specific, here is the code and error looks like:

client = adwords.AdWordsClient.LoadFromStorage("googleads.yaml")
client.SetClientCustomerId('xxx-xxx-')
offline_conversion_feed_service =
client.GetService('OfflineConversionFeedService', version='v201806')
feed = {

'conversionTime': conversion_time,
'conversionValue': conversion_value,
'googleClickId': click_id,
}

offline_conversion_operation = {
'operator': 'ADD',
'operand': feed
}

[
To be sure, I print out the feed, and it looks like:
{'conversionName': 'LTV',
'conversionTime': array(['20180808 170353 America/New_York',
'20180808 165437 America/New_York',

'conversionValue': array([0.0222, 5.8944, 0.4278, ...,

Then I try to upload them through:
offline_conversion_response =
offline_conversion_feed_service.mutate([offline_conversion_operation])

With error message:

Passing a variable int KeywordIdeas

2018-08-09 Thread Stephen Barrett
I'm working with the KeywordIdeas sample and I was wondering if there was a
way to pass a variable without it be $_POST? I'm using Ajax and I was able
to pass the post variable through the form's serialize function. My ajax
script is changing the $_POST into another variable. So I was wondering how
I can pass just a simple variable into KeywordIdeas without it being a
$_POST variable. (if that makes sense)

Thanks in advance

Re: How can I retrieve conversion using ConversionTrackerService

Hello. I also have the same problem. I didn't add any conditions when I

conversions for source=Third-party application analysis tools. I don't know
if you solve this problem. How can I get it? I thought I needed to get this

What do I need to do exactly in order to migrate/update correctly? I don't

Upload business costs to adwords

2018-08-09 Thread Caphunters.es
I've googled a bit and found nobody talking about this. The question is: Is
it possible to upload business costs via API for each conversion to
AdWords, creating a new custom column?

The purpose of this is to be able to make decisions just with AdWords, not
having to consult information over several tools, and get cost
effectiveness for each campaign/keyword...

Thanks!

Re: For Shopping Campaign Can We Add Product Group

2018-08-09 Thread 'Teja Makani' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Avinash,

It is not required to add Product Group to every AdGroup in your Campaign,
but in order to serve ads for your Shopping campaign, you must create an
AdGroup with at least one ad in the ad group. You could refer this guide

 to
know more about creating a shopping campaign and product partitions. You
could refer to the examplesAddShoppingCampaign.java

 and AddProductPartition.java

 to
know more about creating shopping campaigns and product partitions. Code
samples in other languages can be found here
. Let me
know if you have any further questions.

In this support channel we will communicate in English only. Unfortunately,
there is no way to get the device's IP, device number and clicked Ads via

which impression was shown. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Based on the SOAP logs shared, there are quite a few empty search

searchParameter value is getting null in your code. Please check this
related issue on

post your concern on the Github issue tracker

Re: How do I get a list of conversions for source=Third-party application analysis tools? as the picture shows

2018-08-09 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Jia,

The ConversionTrackerService.get()

 will
only return the set of conversion trackers that are supported by AdWords
API. *Third-party app analytics* is not supported by the API and hence
will not be retuned by the get operation. However, you will be able to pull
data corresponding to this tracker in the API reports using the field
ExternalConversionSource

.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Bharani, AdWords API Team.

Our team was able to take a look at the issue. It looks the issue could be
specific to the Python client library. Can you try posting your concern on
the Python Github Issue tracker
 so that the

Get "Cost" without interactions that can’t lead to conversions in AdWords API

2018-08-09 Thread Tiana S.
Hi guys,

As you don't provide a predefined metric to request "Conv. value / cost" in
the Reporting API, we're calculating it ourselves by doing `Total Conv.
Value / cost`.
We've been using this calculation for a while, however, since recently we
are noticing some discrepancies with the interface in some cases. Checking
the definition again, we found that it now includes the following:

> The cost in this metric excludes interactions that can’t lead to
> conversions, such as those that happen when you aren’t using conversion
> tracking.

Is there anyway we can fetch that cost, so excluding the interactions that
can't lead to conversions, so we can calculate a correct "Conv. value /
cost"?
And if not, are there by any chance plans to add "Conv. value / cost" and
"Conv. value / click" to the API?

Thanks,

Tiana

Re: When creating UAC ads, create them separately through the AdWords API and the AdWords UI, and see the results in the AdWords UI for a different display.

2018-08-09 Thread jia zheng

Hello there. Thank you for your personal reply. But I don't think it is
because I set up YoutubeVideoMediaIds.
First of all, I am based on Bharani at
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/adwords-api/I$20am$20calling$20MediaService.upload$20and$20trying$20to$20set$20up$20a$20youtube

$20video$2C$20I$20am$20getting$20an$20error%7Csort:date/adwords-api/Z4rJyrWO7U4/_hCsYIgTDAAJ
The method of replying (this is his original: If you already have the
Youtube media in your account, you will be able to use the
MediaService.get() and retrieve the MediaId of the youtubeMedia). And has
returned to success.
Secondly, even if I do not set YoutubeVideoMediaIds according to your
requirements, I can't see other material on the CREATIVE ASSETS page (such
as photos, texts, etc.) in the aword UI.
Therefore, For UAC ads created through the AdWords API, I will see any
donate on the CREATIVE ASSETS page, I don't think I set
YoutubeVideoMediaIds because I deleted the YoutubeVideoMediaIds setting,
the same phenomenon.
I look forward to your patience to answer.

Re: Failed to download report

2018-08-09 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

For Geographic view just like in the UI, you should add the
*IsTargetingLocation
= true or No predicate on IsTargetingLocation* while for User locations
view, you could add *IsTargetingLocation IN [true, false] AND LocationType =
LOCATION_OF_PRESENCE* as your predicate. See this guide

 for
reference.

If it's still empty after trying my suggestions, could you provide the
clientCustomerId you are using when generating the Geo Performance Report
so I could further investigate? Please reply via *Reply privately to author*
.

Re: I have a problem with getting some values Gclid from CLICK_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

2018-08-09 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Maxim,

I had to edit your initial post as it may have contained sensitive
information. You may refer to our forum posting guidelines
 to
avoid exposing such data in the future. Moving forward, the GCLID that you
are looking for may have been associated to a different date. As stated here
,

conversions are associated to the impression time and to track them through
the reports, you will need to apply the appropriate dateRange.

That being said, I would recommend that you back track to at least 7 days
as this may help you locate your missing GCLID. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks and regards,

My apologies for the misinformation on my previous response. The field that

Could you add these field again and regenerate the report?

Re: Ads (beta) api operation limits

2018-08-09 Thread 'Dannison Yao (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Don,

Could you point me to the documentation you were referring to that
mentioned that the DELETE operation has a limit of 1000? The system limits
of the Google Ads API Beta should be the same with the AdWords API system
limits .

As for the partial failure concern, I would have to discuss this with the
team on how this operates in the Google Ads API Beta. I'll give you an
update on this thread.

Dannison

Re: Failed to download report

2018-08-09 Thread Миша Васильев
Thanks for the answer. I did as you said. I used the following query *SELECT
CityCriteriaId, CampaignName FROM GEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT DURING
LAST_30_DAYS*.
But I got this error again.
I need to receive a request that contains fields of "company names" and
information about cities. Thanks

Hi,

I removed your attachment as it contains information relative to your
account. I would suggest that you review our forum posting guidelines
 in
order to avoid exposing private information into this public forum for your
future post.

Moving forward, could you provide the complete SOAP request and response
logs when you added the ad group bids? Also could you clarify which
specific ad group had change the bids? Please reply via *Reply privately to

Thanks and regards,

Re: Failed to download report

2018-08-09 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

The Geo Performance Report

 is
intended to get the statistics data of your campaign that is aggregated at
the country/territory level. To be able to use the report, you must include
at least one field of the location criteria IDs (CityCriteriaId

, CountryCriteriaId

, MetroCriteriaId

, MostSpecificCriteriaId

, RegionCriteriaId

).

If you want to retrieve the Campaign Name only, I would suggest to just use
the Campaign Performance Report

 instead.

Thanks and regards,
Luis

Re: How to access a campaigns targetCPA

2018-08-09 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

Using the CampaignService.get(), you will need to include the
BiddingStrategyConfiguration

 in
your selected fields then once retrieved through the Campaign object,
create an object of its type. You can then extract its BiddingScheme

 that
would then allow you to identify whether it is a TargetCpaBiddingScheme

 and
then get its TargetCpa

 value.

Thanks and regards,
Peter
