How to turn on message reporting via Adwords API

2018-08-13 Thread Ronak Shah
Hello,

Is there any way we can turn on message reporting via adwords API for
creating Message Extensions ?

Re: 5 млн. FeedItem

2018-08-13 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

My apologies if our team can only provide support in English. You could
retrieve your feeds/feed items through the Placeholder Report

 or
the Placeholder Feed Item Report
.

However, I would recommend that you break down your reports by adding
predicates/filters as you may encounter timeouts
 when
pulling huge amounts of data.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Hi,

Yes, this is an expected behavior. The keyword id alone is not globally
unique. But the combination of ad group id + keyword id (criteria id) will
be a unique combination. Please check this guide

for more clarity.

Hi Suvodhoy,

You won't be able to identify if the SharedSet is owned by the MCC or the
client account. The SharedSetService.get

 will
give you the SharedSet

 object
which doesn't contain that information. I will pass on your feedback to the
team so that they can look into the possibility of having that in the
future. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: Multiple ads with same keyword ids

On second thought, making the poor performing keyword negative will also do
a similar thing to pausing it. In your examples, you show a way to add a
negative keyword, but I dont see an example on how to make an existing
keyword negative. Is there a way to do this?

Duplicate google keyword id

2018-08-13 Thread Zingler42
When we upload keywords, sometimes the same id is returned for the same
keywords but from different companies and adgroups. For example:

58665346260

393235640101

58665347420

393235640101

58665347940

393235640101

Is it legit issue for same keywords? If so, why ids not always the same?

Re: How do I get a list of conversions for source=Third-party application analysis tools? as the picture shows

2018-08-13 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Jia,

As mentioned earlier, the third party conversion trackers are not supported
through the API Services. If you have an existing campaign with this
tracker associated with it, you will be able to use the Campaign
Performance Report

 to
pull the ExternalConversionSource

 and ConversionTrackerId
.

If you're looking to use the ConversionTrackerService.get()

 to
pull this information, I'm afraid, it is not possible to do so.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Bharani, AdWords API Team

How to distinguish between MCC shared sets and account shared sets?

2018-08-13 Thread suvodhoy sinha
Hi,

When we fetch shared sets via the API, we receive both the MCC shared sets
as well as the account shared sets. But there is no way to identify which
are from which? In Adwords dashboard, there is a text which appears under
the shared set stating "Owned by a manager account". Is there any similar
functionality available in the API?

Re: How do I get a list of conversions for source=Third-party application analysis tools? as the picture shows

2018-08-13 Thread jia zheng
Do you mean that I read the data in the ExternalConversionSource field by
grabbing some reports, such as the Campaign Performance Report?
Then I have a few questions:
1. If I don't have an advertising campaign, how can I read the report data?
2. Even if I have an ad campaign, the ExternalConversionSource field in the
report data read is returned, such as Website, Third-partyappanalytics,
GooglePlay, etc. But this is not what I need, do I need information such as
conversionTrackerId?
3. The data fields returned by ConversionTrackerService.get(), such as
conversionTrackerId, conversionTrackerName, appId("com.rosegal"),
appPlatform("ANDROID_MARKET"), etc., are useful fields for me. How do I get
them?

Re: API for get App ID of android and ios platform?

2018-08-13 Thread 'Dannison Yao (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

Could you confirm if the appIds you are pertaining to are the ones already
targeted for a specific campaign or ad group? If so, retrieving of these
appId's are possible, however, you can only retrieve this on a certain
level (campaign level, ad group level etc.) at a time. You could use the
CampaignCriterionService.get()

 or
the AdGroupCriterionService.get()

 depending
on the level you wish to retrieve this. You just have to specify
MobileApplication.appId in the selector.

If you wish to retrieve the ones that are not yet targeted, I am afraid
this is not possible in the AdWords API.

Re: About campaign setting device

2018-08-13 Thread 'Luis Xander Talag (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Ichiro,

By default, new campaigns already contains a Platform criterion

 for
each of Desktop, HighEndMobile, and Tablet. To make changes on this
criterion, you may use the CampaignCriterionService.mutate()

 and
use the *SET
*
 operator to
update your targeted device. You may refer to this guide

 for
their respective criterion id. Also, you may refer to this sample code

 in
Java (also available in other languages) on how to add a criteria to your
campaign. However, that sample code uses Location and Language criteria.
All you need to do is to change the criterion object to Platform.

Let me know if you still need further assistance.

Thanks and regards,
Luis

Re: How to access a campaigns targetCPA

2018-08-13 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

My apologies for the mistake. In your Selector, you need to include the "
*BiddingStrategyType*" and "*TargetCpa*" campaign fields. When processing
the results, you may then provide a condition to filter only those bidding
strategies that are of type TARGET_CPA, if you have strategies aside from
the one I mentioned.

Using Java, I was able to extract the information by using the code snippet
below :

if
(campaign.getBiddingStrategyConfiguration().getBiddingStrategyType().toString().equals("TARGET_CPA"))

{

BiddingScheme biddingScheme =
campaign.getBiddingStrategyConfiguration().getBiddingScheme();
TargetCpaBiddingScheme targetCPAScheme =
(TargetCpaBiddingScheme) biddingScheme;
String targetCpaValue =
targetCPAScheme.getTargetCpa().toString();

System.out.printf("Campaign with name '%s' and ID %d and
targetCpa '%s' was found.%n", campaign.getName(),
campaign.getId(), targetCpaValue);

  }

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Re: UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR for AdGroupCriterionService

2018-08-13 Thread Kerwin Jorbina
Hi,

Any news on this? Were you able to make it work?

I am also trying to add the CriterionUserInterest to the adgroup of the
campaign and I am encountering this error. I used 'Display' as the
advertising_channel_type.

The example code looks like this (*please don't mind if there are syntax
errors*):

ad_group_criterion_service = client.service(:AdGroupCriterionService)
ad_group_criterion_service.mutate({
operator: 'ADD',
operand: {
xsi_type: 'BiddableAdGroupCriterion',
ad_group_id: some_number,
criterion: {
xsi_type: 'CriterionUserInterest',
id: id
}
}
})

I tried to change the id to userInterestId also but I am getting an error
that userInterestId is not recognized.

I have tried to hard code the id also from the values that is included in
the following:

   - https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/verticals
   -

https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/codes-formats#affinity-categories

Can someone help me?
