error. Another possible cause of this error is if you recently changes the name 
of the conversion action and this GCLID was generated before the name change.

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, providing email addresses tied to a 
Google API Console project is not in the scope of our team. If you cannot 
figure out which email created the project, you will have to create a new one 
as we cannot provide this information.

You can follow this guide to create a new project and generate new OAuth2 
credentials. Once you have generated your new credentials, you can add your new 
email address as a user to your Google Ads account in the UI by going to Tools 
& Settings -> Account access. Once you are added as a user, you should be able 
to make calls to the API with your new OAuth2 credentials and the same 
developer token. If you have any additional questions, let me know.

not be tested on the test accounts as the test accounts do not serve ads. You 
could only use this feature on the production account.

Thank you for reaching out. It is still not currently possible to add/remove 
members of a UserList using Google Ads API. It is only possible in AdWords API 
using the mutateMembers call. If you are able to use AdWords API, I suggest 
using it for this feature. A feature request for this has been put in place for 
this in the Google Ads API, so please keep an eye out on our blog for any 
updates.

Thank you for reaching out. With regards to your concern,The 
QuotaCheckError.RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error generally occurs when you are sending 
too many requests in a short period of time. The server throws this error once 
it detects that your request has exceeded the system frequency limit. I would 
recommend to set up short delays between requests or combine more operations in 
fewer requests. Please refer to the Best practices guide to optimize the 
efficiency and performance.

If you are still having issues, please share the complete detailed request and 
response logs along with customer ids via reply privately to author so that I 
can further investigate the issue. You can find information on enabling logging 
under your client library.  We can not reset the quota for you.

client account (9801005090)? You can check by going to Tools & Settings -> 
Account access.

using Adwords API you would need to use the BudgetOrderService in the Adwords 
API. Mutate requests to this service are available only to allowlisted Google 
Ads manager accounts that have also been setup for monthly invoicing. Get 
requests are open to everyone. You could refer to this guide for more 
information.

The Campaign Location Target report will give you data on campaign targeted 
locations. For the geographic report, you will need to use the Geo Performance 
Report. Unfortunately, this report doesn't contain app campaigns. The only

Yes, that is correct. This field is not available in Google Ads API for 
geographic_view. If you navigate to the Geographic report in the UI, you will 
see that these fields are also no longer available for this tab. You can use 
the Interactive Google Ads Query Builder to check if your queries are valid.

results would differ. There is no way to check the server-side settings.

For your second question, there is no expected factor difference between the

Hi Bogdan,

I do not see issues with your request. You are configuring it properly to give 
you Russian language and Ukraine as a country. However, the 
TargetingIdeaService in AdWords API uses a different back end server than the 
UI to generate keyword ideas. Google Ads API results should be closer to what 
you see in the UI.

Enable Google Ads API

Hi,

To enable Google Ads Api i need to access to Google API Console and enable 
the api in a current project.
The project was created 9 years ago and i dont know what is the admin email 
to do it,
I tried several accounts but i dont have permissions so, these are not the 
admin accounts.
If i reply privately to you the project ID would be great if you can check 
which email account is linked to the project.

If this possible?

With the email i will figure it out the password to log in.

I dont want to create a new projet and a new credentials because i have the 
adwords api active and with some operations running and i dont want to 
generate any conflict with the current secret, refresh token, etc.

You can use the AdwordsUserListService to get audience details. Here is the 
list of available selector fields for this service. You can then iterate over 
the return pages and print the results. You can see this example for how to 
work with the pages.

Additionally, you can enable detailed logging to see all of the results from 
your selector. You can do that by following the instructions in the ReadMe of 
your client library.

used for in customer match. According to the documentation, the appID is a 
string that uniquely identifies a mobile application from which the data was 
collected to AdWords API. This means that the mobile application you specify 
via the appID will help supply collected data to the API for your CRM based 
user list. This field is required when creating CrmBasedUserList for uploading

Hi,

You can get the search term associated with a GCLID using the Click Performance 
Report and querying the CriteriaParameters. To get the conversion action (from 
your CRM), you would have to do what you said and get the Click Performance 
Report from AdWords on the impression date and map the GCLID to your CRM on the 
conversion date.

The conversion in Google Ads will be reflected on the impression date. You can 
find additional information on this here.

Google Ads API documentation, so I'm asking if it possible to create/update

Get UAC report break down by location(country) regardless of targeting

Currently I am trying to get stats with Campaign Location Report.
If I use this report, I can get the information of the targeted country 
well. 
However, non-targeted countries are not separated and can only be obtained 
by aggregated information.

I want to get information about each country regardless of target or not.
Can you give me any advice about this issue?

AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage and TopImpressionPercentage in geographic_view

Hi,

We've been using the Adwords API to download 
AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage and TopImpressionPercentage from the Geo 
Performance Report. It seems that in Google Ads API this is not possible 
anymore? 

We're getting this error: "PROHIBITED_METRIC_IN_SELECT_OR_WHERE_CLAUSE", 
saying that: "Cannot select or filter on the following metrics: 
\'absolute_top_impression_percentage\'(could not support requested 
resources: \'GEOGRAPHIC_VIEW\', \'GEOGRAPHIC_VIEW\'), since metric is 
incompatible with the resource in the FROM clause or other selected 
segmenting resources."

There is no mention of this in the migration guide here: 
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/migration/reports#geo_performance

API Usage info & potential billing penalties

Hello to all!

I have been using the API successfully for some time now for my company, 
but two questions are really bothering us:

1) we're in the process to pull some data (using Targeting Ideas Service) 
in order to improve our business, but we cannot monitor the requests. There 
is no graph or logs displaying API usage. Is there a way to clearly check 
on the API usage and not rely just on estimations?

2) we gained Basic Access and as far as I understand we are not subject to 
Required Minimum Functionality. So is it true (as per in the Adwords API 
documentation) that we will NOT get billed any amount if we hit certain 
limits when making requests?

Updating ad group feed matching function Google Ads Api

Hi,


I am having some issues with updating the ad group feed matching function 
using the Google Ads Api v3. I am using the PHP SDK.


I have created an AdGroupFeed to link my ad groups to sitelink extensions. 
However, I now want to update the matching_function, so that I can change 
the linked sitelinks.

I am using the update mask ‘matching_function.operator’, 
‘matching_function.left_operands’ and ‘matching_function.right_operands’, 
but after sending these update operations to the AdGroupFeedService, I get 
the error:

*Multiple errors in ‘details’. First error: Field 
'matching_function.left_operands' cannot be modified by 'UPDATE' 
operation., at operations[0].update.matching_function.left_operands*

Simply using 'matching_function' as the update mask also results in an 
error, stating that this field has sub fields.


I cannot seem to find anything in the documentation regarding this.


Any help on this would be much appreciated.

SHOPPING_PERFORMANCE_REPORT.OfferId contains "--" in some reporting entries

I've noticed that in the SHOPPING_PERFORMANCE_REPORT 

 
some (not many) impressions are not being allocated to any OfferId (a.k.a. 
Item Id). I.e., the OfferId 

 
and ProductTitle 

 
attributes in the report contain "--". What's odd is that none of the 
description of both attributes explicitly mentions "--" as a possible value 
(other attributes do, like AverageCPC 
,
 
for example). Also, those "--" OfferId values are only returned from the 
AdWords API for reporting data from 2020-06-25 on. Is this a bug or should 
we assume OfferId="--" as a legit value?

Here an example query and result:

trackingSetting giving error

Hi,

I am trying to create a script that adds campaigns with a batch operation. 
Till now I have succeeded with every setting for the new campaigns, but the 
tracking url template.

I have inserted in the funcion BuilCampaignOperations (as found in the 
documentation) in the operand dictionary a code snippet for the tracking 
url template:

'settings': [
{
'xsi_type': 'TrackingSetting',
'trackingUrl': 
'{lpurl}?vr_source=google_medium=cpc_campaignid={campaignid}_adgroupid={adgroupid}'
}
]

But when I run the code it gives me the error DESTINATION_URL_DEPRECATED. 
What is the mistake there? Note that this tracking url template has already 
been tested and used via the Google Ads UI and works fine.
