Hi Denma,

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, it is not available in the Adwords API.
In terms of the feature request, I just got word from my team that we are
actually no longer planning to make any enhancements to the AdWords API as our
top priority is getting the Google Ads API ready for general availability. we
are no longer planning on adding enhancements to the AdWords API, but we will
continue to fully support it, and address any bugs as they are found.

Parentheses in selector predicates

2020-08-06 Thread 'Dmitry Trager' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Say I use *AdGroupCriterionService* and make request with predicates in
selector.
I've just found that when my predicate is like *{:field=>"CampaignName",
:operator=>"CONTAINS", :values=>["ED Supplements - US/CAN/AUS/NZ (UMZU)"]}*
request does not go properly.

Looks like this is b/c of parentheses, without this symbols everything
works as expected.
Is this a bug or I can escape parentheses somehow?

Thanks.

Do we need to refresh the RefreshToken ever in my Service.

2020-08-06 Thread Davinder singh gosain
Hi Team,

I have a Kafka consumer that will polling topics and sending UserData to
UserList (CrmBasedUserList) for Customer Match (Audience Targeting). So I
have generated clientid, client-secret, developer-token, refresh-token and
I also have customer ID. I am using new Ads API (Beta) with Java SDK. So
things are working fine now. It just struck to me what if refresh token
gets expired after some time (a month or so), as Refresh token has it's own
expiry.

Do I need to generate a new refresh token in this case? If yes, how can we
do it automatically?

Code: ads.properties in home directory.
GoogleAdsClient googleAdsClient = GoogleAdsClient.newBuilder().
fromPropertiesFile().build();

Used this code to generate refresh token:
https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-java/blob/master/google-ads-examples/src/main/java/com/google/ads/googleads/examples/authentication/AuthenticateInStandaloneApplication.java

Thanks.

Re: How to reporting on Sitelink dimensions

2020-08-06 Thread the...@funnel.io
Hi Anthony,

I could use some more guidance here. I've taken a look at what data I can
get from the placeholder feed item report, and I see how i can find
sitelink urls under AttributeValues, but this data doesn't seem to line up
at all with what i see under the dimensions *Campaign sitelinks: active*
and *Ad group sitelinks: active* in the google ads UI. What am I missing
here?

as you are using external attribution model you need to add additional

 I'm currently using the python script here to upload

 conversions into my Google Ads account.

 I've already setup the following prerequisites -

 1) Approved developer token
 2) Generated an OAuth client id / client secret / refresh token

 After I run the script mentioned above, the Google Server responds with
 a blank response (see below)

 *Uploaded conversion that occurred at "" from Google Click ID "" to ""*

 I included all of the required values in the API call, including my
 customer_id, conversion_action_id (aka conversion action name), the Google
 Click ID, and the conversion times / values.
 Could someone help me understand why this is happening?

Re: User_ID customer match

2020-08-06 Thread Nicholas Edwards
Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

So the first step I have done is to pull back the conversion trackers on
the account so I can get the offline conversion ID.

However, the response I get back doesn't include all conversions.

Here is my code:

user_list_service = client.GetService('ConversionTrackerService', 'v201809')
CustomerServiceSelector = {
'fields': ['Id']
}
result = user_list_service.get(CustomerServiceSelector)

Which only returns back 3 conversions - I am looking to retrieve the below
conversion - should this be returned?

Thanks,
Nick
