RE: Logo Images Dimension Changed in GoogleAds API and Adwords API

2022-01-13 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Ashutosh,

Thank you for posting your concern.

To answer your concern on the old assets in general, these should remain as is.
However, when you manage them via the Google Ads API, you may note that the
dimensions should conform to the new standard moving forward.

For the scenario when creating new assets via the Google Ads API and if you are
looking for a field where you can set the square logo or 1:1 dimension logo,
then you will need to upload it in the square_logo_images[] field of the
ResponsiveDisplayAdInfo.

RE: Integration into the system through PHP

2022-01-13 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for posting your concern. I can see that this concern has already
been raised in a private email thread. With this, allow me to reiterate it here
and see it below:

"For the below concern, could you confirm if these features can be seen in the
UI? If yes, then please provide screenshot of the whole UI where we can see
those features so that we can check if it is possible in the Google Ads API.
"That is, I need the client to click on the "login" button, then give
permission and then see his Google Ads balance.

I would also like to output:
1. Company List
2. Group List
3. Announcement from the group (status, etc.)
4. Balance

All this needs to be displayed through the API, that is, every client who wants
to see this logs in through the OAUTH and sees this data"

Moving forward to your concern below, the client can provide you an access to
the account by following this guide using Google Ads API. You may note the
invitation_id for your database that will be generated after successful API
request.
"Also, we want the client to log in and grant us access only once, that is, he
clicked on the login button and gave permission, and then we need him not to go
through this procedure again. That is, we will take some kind of ID, and then
store it in the database, so that with each call to the API, we use the ID that
is stored in the database."

Please provide the requested details in the existing private email thread or
you can provide it via Reply privately to author option.

Thanks for getting back to us.

Kindly see below responses to your queries:

I read that I shouldn't mix both create and remove in the same

into consideration that a OfflineUserDataJob can take up to 24h.
What are my alternatives?

RE: How to use batching with UserList and UserData API for Google ads?

2022-01-13 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for your question.

The BatchJobService currently cannot be used to upload audiences/segments. In
the customer match considerations guide, you may refer to the below items for
more information on uploading larger number of users :

The operations collection for each AddOfflineUserDataJobOperationsRequest can
contain at most 100,000 elements. If you need to submit more than 100,000
operations for a job, send multiple requests with the same job resource_name.
Avoid simultaneously running multiple OfflineUserDataJob processes that modify
the same user list (that is, multiple jobs whose
CustomerMatchUserListMetadata.user_list point to the same resource name). Doing
so can result in a CONCURRENT_MODIFICATION error since multiple jobs are not
permitted to operate on the same list at the same time. This error can also
occur if attempting to simultaneously modify a list through the Google Ads UI
and the Google Ads API. Note that this does not apply to adding operations to
an existing job, which can be done at any time before the job is started.

According to this guide, avg_monthly_searches will only provide an averaged for

Email required when making createCustomerClient request

2022-01-13 Thread Johnathon Slightham
Hello,
I am trying to use the REST interface to create clients
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/rest/reference/rest/v9/customers/createCustomerClient).

The documentation does not mention that providing an email address is
required to create a client, and when creating a client through the google
ads manager UI, I do not need to specify an email address.

However, when I try to use the API I get the error: "Field 'email_address'
is required for 'createCustomerClient' operation". In any of the example
code samples for the supported libraries, I do not see email addresses
being specified. Is this because the REST interface requires an email
address to be specified, but gRPC does not?

Thank you

How to use batching with UserList and UserData API for Google ads?

2022-01-13 Thread Paid Media
Hi Team

We are trying to create the Segments and pushing customers PII to these
segments.
To create a segment we are using UserListOperation.
To create customers' data we are using UserDataOperation.
To add customers to the segment we are using UploadUserDataRequest.
All this works fine for a small number of customers, but we have to handle
the large customer size greater than 30K and for that, we want to utilize
the BatchJobService.
One of its important input is MutateOperation. But we can't find any
suitable mutate operation for UserData and therefore can't proceed.
Could you please help us to know how we can add a large number of customers
to the Segment via BatchJobService? And also let us know if there is an
alternate approach for the same requirement.

Thanks in advance.

GeoTargetConstantSuggestion difference between AdWords and GoogleAds

2022-01-13 Thread Manuel Del Carril
Hello,
I am getting GeoTargetConstantSuggestion from GoogleAds API. The problem is
that comparing the results with the AdWords API there are results present
GoogleAds API that are not present in AdWords API and viceversa. For
example, in case the search term is "Nashville" limiting to 10 values, the
ids returned are:
AdWords API:
  1026083
  1017229
  1016711
  1021238
  1015449
  1013302
  1019478
  9058972
  9024187

GoogleAds API:
  200659
  1026083
  1021238
  1016711
  1017229
  1013302
  1019478
  9040738

Integration into the system through PHP

2022-01-13 Thread Test-user 999-analitics
Hello everyone, I need help, I'm trying to make a system that will display
the balance from Google ADS, but I have a problem, because there are no
specific instructions on how to do this.

That is, I need the client to click on the "login" button, then give
permission and then see his Google Ads balance.

I would also like to output:
1. Company List
2. Group List
3. Announcement from the group (status, etc.)
4. Balance

All this needs to be displayed through the API, that is, every client who
wants to see this logs in through the OAUTH and sees this data

Also, we want the client to log in and grant us access only once, that is,
he clicked on the login button and gave permission, and then we need him
not to go through this procedure again. That is, we will take some kind of
ID, and then store it in the database, so that with each call to the API,
we use the ID that is stored in the database.

Logo Images Dimension Changed in GoogleAds API and Adwords API

2022-01-13 Thread Ashutosh Singh Rawat
Dear Fellow,

I'm trying to migrate "MultiAssetResponsiveDisplayAd" from Adwords API to
the new GoogleAds "ResponsiveDisplayAd". Where need to upload the
AdImageAsset like: Marketing Images , Square Marketing Images and Logo
Images,

I'm facing any issue with the logo images, because in the Adwords API were
we able to upload square images but in the new GoogleAds API. We have only
one option that is 512x128.

I am little worried about my old uploaded assets data on the Adwords.

I wanted to know that what will happen with my old assets data that already
be uploaded on the Adwords and now uploading new logos.

   - It will conflict with the old assets or
   - it will be deleted or automatically managed by google or
   - We need to upload assets again.

because the dimension has been changed in the new GoogleAds API, what will
happen with the old data ?
Adwords Logo Dimensions:

   - Minimum dimensions: 128x128 pixels
   - Greater than minimum dimensions: Within 1% of the 1:1 ratio
   - Suggested dimensions: 1200x1200 pixels

Google Ads Logo Dimensions

   - Logo images to be used in the ad. Valid image types are GIF, JPEG, and
   PNG. The minimum size is 512x128 and the aspect ratio must be 4:1 (+-1%).
   Combined with square_logo_images, the maximum is 5.

Re: UserList, Removing all UserData from a UserList

Thanks for the reply,
I want to upload by diff, meaning adding to the segment more relevant
devices and removing devices that are no longer relevant, using the
setCreate and setRemove operations.
I read that I shouldn't mix both create and remove in the same
OfflineUserDataJob
,

and that I cant run more than one job per UserList. Taking into
consideration that a OfflineUserDataJob

 can
take up to 24h.
What are my alternatives?
is uploading by diff as mentioned above supported?
Can you please explain the difference in use for the UserDataService

compared
to the OfflineUserDataJobService

.

InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR on ConversionTrackerService.get

2022-01-13 Thread 'Tom Meijer' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I'm consistently getting a InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR
when doing a get request using ConversionTrackerService. This only happens
with certain accounts.

I tried migrating to the new Google Ads API. This resolves the issue for
some accounts, but for others I get a error saying: '*The customer (or
login customer) isn't in Google Ads. It belongs to another ads system*'.

Some help will be much appreciated.

Tom

The first row returned didn't have an item id so there were no segments
available. I incorrectly assumed that this would be the case for all
returned rows but as it turns out every other row does allow me to extract
the segments and retrieve the item id.

I'm not sure how a shopping click isn't being associated with a product id
but never mind. Now that i know, I can work around it.

Cheers.

Re: Get search volumes for all available months

2022-01-13 Thread Xinyi Guo
Hi Jakeia,

My understanding is that the segmentation can only retrieve campaign data
from earlier period, but for search volume I need to create new campaign
and ad groups. I am not sure how the old search volume can be retrieved
through the segmentation?

Best,
Xinyi

RE: How to get Audience segments information?

2022-01-13 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Chen,

I'm Kevin from the Google Ads API Team.

Since you're not querying for any metrics, I suggest you try this query "SELECT
user_interest.name, ad_group_criterion.custom_affinity.custom_affinity,
ad_group_criterion.display_name FROM ad_group_criterion WHERE ad_group.id =
" to get the data based on your screenshot. I've tried this on my
end and I was able to successfully get the same data as the UI.

Afterwards, you will need to send a separate API request in order to get the
display name of the audience segment. You can refer to the following query for
reference "SELECT detailed_demographic.name FROM detailed_demographic WHERE
detailed_demographic.id = 'x'". The detailed_demographic.id is the
ad_group_criterion.display_name from the first request.

If you encounter any issue or if you have any further clarification, just let
me know the details and provide the complete request and response logs with
request ID so I can further investigate. You may send these via Reply privately
to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details
directly to our googleadsapi-supp...@google.com alias instead.

RE: Geoe Target Performance with matrics in campaign level

2022-01-13 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

The geographic_view aggregates at the country level, one row per country, via
the geographic_view.country_criterion_id. If the geo_target_constant.id is a
country type, you can use it as filter for the mentioned geographic_view
country ID field.

RE: IMAGE_AD Immutable or Mutable?

2022-01-13 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Pete,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

For your question "Are final urls of Image Ads mutable?", Yes. However,
ImageAdInfo is immutable. Upon checking your API request, I can see that you’re
adding different attributes in update_mask. I have updated the final Urls of my
Image Ad as seen below:

{

  "operations": [

 {"update": {

'type': 'IMAGE_AD',

'resource_name': "customers/***/ads/559983145860",

'id': '573016978749',

'final_urls': "https://www.update.com/;

  },

  'update_mask': {

'paths': "final_urls"

  }

 } ],

  "partialFailure": true}

Response:

{

  "results": [

{

  "resourceName": "customers//ads/45860"

}

  ]

}

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
