Inquiries about the policy that one API token can be issued per legal entity

2022-03-03 Thread media dmc
We were informed that only one Google API token can be issued per
entity(corporation).
What is the criteria to distinguish each legal entity in Google Ads?

Our MCC consists of Sub MCCs of several legal entities.
API tokens were issued to the top MCC, and Google SupportTeam said that it
is difficult to issue APIs to sub MCCs of other companies.

I have two Question

1. All sub MCCs use only one payment profile and one payment profile ID.
It seems that this payment profile ID identifies a legal entity. Is this
correct?

2. If the payment profile ID does not distinguish a corporation, please
tell me what is the standard for distinguishing a corporation in Google Ads.

3. If I edit the company name of the developer details in the API Center
information, can I get an additional API token?

Regards,

I want to integrate my business api with Ads
However, I get a connection error DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED with a GCP

Is it possible to change the Ads account associated with my GCP project?

My Business API was not licensed with the new GCP project.

Blank response when increasing the number of fields in query for Ad_group report in Python

2022-03-03 Thread Heidi Hart
Hello,
I am encountering what is (at least to me) puzzling behavior when
attempting to download report data via the Google Ads API when increasing
the number of fields in a query. I am using the Python client library.

The following query returns the expected data, and I compared it to data
for the same dates and customer id that was retrieved through the AdWords
API and confirmed it matched up:

*SELECT ad_group.id, campaign.name, segments.date, metrics.cost_micros,
metrics.impressions FROM ad_group WHERE segments.date >= '2022-03-01' AND
segments.date <= '2022-03-03'*

However, when I expanded that query in order to gather all of the data from
ad_group that I could, the search request returned no data and there was no
error response from the API. This is the expanded query (it is a lot of
fields):

*SELECT ad_group.ad_rotation_mode,
ad_group.audience_setting.use_audience_grouped, ad_group.base_ad_group,
ad_group.campaign, ad_group.cpc_bid_micros, ad_group.cpm_bid_micros,
ad_group.cpv_bid_micros, ad_group.display_custom_bid_dimension,
ad_group.effective_cpc_bid_micros, ad_group.effective_target_cpa_micros,
ad_group.effective_target_cpa_source, ad_group.effective_target_roas,
ad_group.effective_target_roas_source,
ad_group.excluded_parent_asset_field_types,
ad_group.explorer_auto_optimizer_setting.opt_in, ad_group.final_url_suffix,
ad_group.id, ad_group.labels, ad_group.name,
ad_group.percent_cpc_bid_micros, ad_group.resource_name, ad_group.status,
ad_group.target_cpa_micros, ad_group.target_cpm_micros,
ad_group.target_roas, ad_group.targeting_setting.target_restrictions,
ad_group.tracking_url_template, ad_group.type,
ad_group.url_custom_parameters, segments.ad_destination_type,
segments.ad_network_type, segments.date, segments.day_of_week,
segments.hour, segments.month, segments.quarter, segments.week,
segments.year, metrics.clicks, metrics.all_conversions,
metrics.all_conversions_from_interactions_rate,
metrics.all_conversions_value, metrics.average_cpc, metrics.conversions,
metrics.conversions_from_interactions_rate, metrics.conversions_value,
metrics.cost_micros, metrics.cost_per_all_conversions,
metrics.cost_per_conversion, metrics.interactions, segments.device,
accessible_bidding_strategy.id,
accessible_bidding_strategy.maximize_conversion_value.target_roas,
accessible_bidding_strategy.maximize_conversions.target_cpa,
accessible_bidding_strategy.name,
accessible_bidding_strategy.owner_customer_id,
accessible_bidding_strategy.owner_descriptive_name,
accessible_bidding_strategy.resource_name,
accessible_bidding_strategy.target_cpa.target_cpa_micros,
accessible_bidding_strategy.target_impression_share.cpc_bid_ceiling_micros,
accessible_bidding_strategy.target_impression_share.location,
accessible_bidding_strategy.target_impression_share.location_fraction_micros,
accessible_bidding_strategy.target_roas.target_roas,
accessible_bidding_strategy.target_spend.cpc_bid_ceiling_micros,
accessible_bidding_strategy.target_spend.target_spend_micros,
accessible_bidding_strategy.type FROM ad_group WHERE segments.date >=
'2022-02-28' AND segments.date <= '2022-03-03'*

Can you please clarify why the second query doesn't contain any data? If
some of those fields are not relevant for the customer id in question I
would expect that either an error would be returned or those fields simply
not be returned, not to have a blank response.

I can provide the customer ID in a direct message if needed (this is
happening with all customer IDs).

GAQL Insert PHP variable in query

2022-03-03 Thread scratch27
Hi,

I would like to create a query with a php variable for the WHERE statement.
Here is an example:
$query = "SELECT campaign.name FROM ad_group WHERE ad_group.id =
$adGroupId";

I am using PHP library and I want to insert dynamic values in queries that
I can get for example from the frontend

Thank you for your help!

2022-03-03 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello Arvind,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API support. If I understand your
concern correctly, you can navigate to the rate limits page of Google Ads API.
For more information, please feel free to reach our Best practices guide to
optimize the efficiency and performance on your API call.
Additionally, the API Limits and Quotas include the Google Ads API enforces
limits on API operations, such as the number of operations that can be sent in
a single mutate request.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.

Call Extensions not retrieving in Ads API

2022-03-03 Thread outleads
We are attempting to retrieve call extensions in a customer account through
the Ads API. The customer has shown us the call extensions through the UI.

However, the following query to the customer's account returns a list of
assets with type IMAGE and TEXT only. None of the entries show the phone
number or country code fields:

SELECT asset.call_asset.country_code, asset.call_asset.phone_number,
asset.id, asset.name, asset.type FROM asset

The documentation claims that all call extensions have been auto-migrated
to the asset format as of Feb 15. Therefore, there is no documentation on
how to retrieve the call extensions of the legacy format.

Could it be that the call extensions are in the legacy format and thus
cannot be retrieved under Assets? If so, how can the call extensions be
retrieved nevertheless? This is a major issue for the continuity of our
services.

Thank you.

Hello Evgeniy,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API support. If you provide wbraid
and gbraid are both set in the request via API, the ClickConversion will fail
with a GBRAID_WBRAID_BOTH_SET error. Currently, only one parameter set is

Re: how to match ClickView with cost_micros for each type of targeting?

2022-03-03 Thread Inna Keegan
Hi Nirmita,

thank you for your effort.

Still we need an answer how to use these reports now before you stop
allowing us to use AdWords API completely in April.

So I still need to find out what report (resource) I should use, to see how
much money I spent for this click?
There must be a way in your current version of API, right?
Please, help us.

RE: Error to Migrating from the AdWords API to the Google Ads API (PHP)

2022-03-03 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Miquel,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

With regards to your concern, you’ve encountered ‘USER_PERMISSION_DENIED'
error. The ‘USER_PERMISSION_DENIED’ usually occurs due to incorrectly setting
the 'login-customer-id’ in the request or not specifying login-customer-id in
the request. Note that when a user doesn't have permission to access a customer
and you’re accessing a client customer then the manager's customer ID must be
set in the 'login-customer-id’ in the header request.

To resolve this, you will need to ensure that your OAuth2 credentials were
generated while logged in as the user / email address that has access to the
customer ID in your request. Also, if the said user / email address is one that
has access to the MCC / manager of the customer account, then you may specify
the MCC / manager account's ID as the login-customer-id.

To investigate the issue further, could you please provide us with the complete
logs (request and response with request-id) ? Please reply privately author
option.

Thanks,

Nirmita

For the client library, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author

RE:

2022-03-03 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Tamken,

Thank you for raising this concern to Google Ads API Team.

Please note that this forum channel can only provide assistance to
issues/concerns related to the Google Ads API / Adwords API. It seems that your
concerns are more product team related. With this, I would suggest reaching out
to the Product support team via this link as they are more equipped to provide
support on your concern about "suspicious payments". However, you may also
describe your issue in this Google Ads Community Help via this link.

Best regards,

Jinky

Urgent! Not able to apply changes to Google Ads with a huge batch job

2022-03-03 Thread Aayushi Bhandari
Hi team,

We have noticed after we migrated to the new API, when we submit a huge
batch job with less than 1 million operations (as mentioned in the docs),
the apply fails.
And this is the error we see -

Overall Unexpected Error: {
 "StatusCode": 13,
 "Details": "Internal error encountered.",
 "RequestId": "K8gqQakN4j1tItWn_6hu6g",
 "Failure": {
   "errors": [
 {
   "errorCode": {
 "internalError": "INTERNAL_ERROR"
   },
   "message": "An internal error has occurred."
 }
   ],
   "requestId": "K8gqQakN4j1tItWn_6hu6g"
 }
}

But if we try doing smaller applies that comprises of a few hundred or a
couple of thousand operations, it works fine.

Could you please help us fix this issue? This was working fine with the
older API version.

Some additional error info:
Error: Status(StatusCode="Internal", Detail="Internal error encountered.",
DebugException="Grpc.Core.Internal.CoreErrorDetailException:
{"created":"@1646308895.00200","description":"Error received from peer
ipv4:172.217.15.106:443","file":"..\..\..\src\core\lib\surface\call.cc","file_line":1070,"grpc_message":"Internal

error encountered.","grpc_status":13}")

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
Aayushi

query returning paused keywords

2022-03-03 Thread Filipe Moreira
Hi
I am using GoogleAds Api to fetch some data and i am passing some filters.
One of these filters (ad_group_criterion.status ) seems to have some
problem.
It is returning keywords that are paused in the UI.

The request Id is *jfcomM7PqJnnMex4RBUFQw*

GAQL:

SELECT
ad_group_criterion.criterion_id,
ad_group_criterion.keyword.text,
ad_group_criterion.status,
ad_group_criterion.labels,
ad_group.name,
ad_group.status,
ad_group.id,
campaign.name,
campaign.id,
metrics.impressions,
metrics.conversions,
metrics.cost_per_conversion,
ad_group_criterion.effective_cpc_bid_micros,
metrics.clicks,
metrics.ctr,
metrics.average_cpc
FROM keyword_view
WHERE segments.date   DURING YESTERDAY
AND campaign.status = 'ENABLED'
AND ad_group.status = 'ENABLED'
AND ad_group_criterion.status = 'ENABLED'

Thank you very much

Best regards,

Filipe

Geographic_view missing data vs Previous Geo Performance Report

2022-03-03 Thread fb0

Hi team,

After migrating one of our essential geo performance report from the
AdWords to Google Ads API (see below previous vs new API queries) we’re
getting back a substantial difference in reported cost for what seems to be
an equivalent reporting query

Could you please advise as soon as possible as this is breaking an
essential part of our core Business reporting?

Happy to direct message you sample returned data for both cases so you can
help explain/solve why this happening to us

Thanks in advance

*Previous query using Adwords API*

SELECT Date, CampaignId, CountryCriteriaId, Cost, Conversions, Clicks,
Impressions FROM GEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT DURING $date, $date

*Current query using Ads API*

GoogleAds v8 OfflineUserDataJob with InsufficientMatchedTransactions failure reason

2022-03-03 Thread Oleh Panchenko
Hello,

recently we've got error while uploading OfflineUserDataJob with status
InsufficientMatchedTransactions. We see that this job have 78 offline
operations. Do you have any limitations
for AddOfflineUserDataJobOperationsRequest.Operations? In documentation we
found only max number of operations per request which is 100_000. Is there
any minimum limitation?
Thanks

Re: Google Ads reporting for device segments doesn't return all values

2022-03-03 Thread Skander Mansouri
Thank you for your response,

However what seemed weird to me is that for segmenting by devices, there
are some values with all metrics in 0 for a Device Type.
for example using my query above for a campaign id 123 the result I'm
receiving
{"campaignId": 123
,"deviceType":"DESKTOP","day":"2022-02-24","cost":0,"impressions":0,"clicks":0,"conversions":0.0}
{"campaignId":123
,"deviceType":"MOBILE","day":"2022-02-24","cost":0,"impressions":1,"clicks":0,"conversions":0.0}
{"campaignId": 123
,"deviceType":"TABLET","day":"2022-02-24","cost":3,"impressions":5,"clicks":0,"conversions":0.0}

Is it normal behavior that I receive the DESKTOP line? if so, why I'm not
receiving OTHERS and TV device types with zero values too?

PS: the values are not from real data.

Re: (OAuth) Token has been expired or revoked

2022-03-03 Thread Alex Garcia
In order to get access to Google Ads API Console support team you need to
pay for a higher tier of support.

Can you please confirm that the Project is indeed, "In production" status?
With the screenshot provided.

It seems like the verification process got stuck and it's not moving
forward, but I think the Project is already "In production".

Migrate from AdWords API to Google Ads (PolicyTopicEntry, PolicySummary - denormalized status)

2022-03-03 Thread Игорь Куцан
Hi everybody

I'm trying to rewrite code where use PolicyTopicEntry.
In API AdWords
(https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201809/AdService.PolicyTopicEntry)

has few fields: policyTopicId, policyTopicName and policyTopicHelpCenterUrl.

In GoogleAds API
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v9/PolicyTopicEntry)

I can't find this 3 fields. In GoogleAds API has only a topic field which
return string.

Where can I find this 3 field (policyTopicId, policyTopicName and
policyTopicHelpCenterUrl) in Google Ads API?

Then I want to get denormalized status from PolicySummary which has in
AdWords API, but I also can't find it in Google Ads.

Using this query builder
(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v9/ad_group_ad_query_builder?hl=en)

I also can't find denormalized status.

Where can I find denormalized status in Google Ads resourse ad_group_ad?

Re: Find the original asset when getting error: CANNOT_MODIFY_ASSET_NAME when uploading duplicate image

2022-03-03 Thread Michael Kopylenko
Hi Arieh,

Not sure why you need logs from our side as this issue can be easily
reproduced: if you have existing UNNAMED image asset in an account, the
same image cannot be uploaded to this account. The
error “NAME_REQUIRED_FOR_ASSET_TYPE” will be raised by API.
As for logs, we have a problem with enabling logging currently. Taking it
with php client team, but without a result meanwhile.
