Re: assign a unique url with every single search term in pmax campaign

2023-11-02 Thread Hugo Arias-Benamou
Hello,

Thanks for your quick response.

At the moment, I'm not able to define a unique url for each search term.
Even in the Google Ads UI.
I can just set a listing of "url pages feed" but nothing more.

It could be very interesting, for all users, to have the possibility to set
an unique url for each search term, in order to maximize our conversion
rate, and the relevancy of the landing pages for Google search visitors.

No response for Google Ads API Access Request

2023-10-22 Thread Hugo Arias-Benamou
Hello,

We applied over weeks ago for basic access for our startup to the Google
Ads API, but have received no response. I just sent a support request also
one week ago.

Our team cannot continue development until we have this level of access on
our account, so it's very urgent we get this resolved ASAP. Please, if you
can help us, I will be very grateful :)

We have 50+ beta testers waiting for our tool [image: ]

My MCC ID is 569-396-9325.
I don't have any case ID to give you because I never received a
confirmation or other notification by email.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Filtering Location Extension in a Campaign Feed

2022-08-09 Thread Hugo Picard
Hello,

We're trying to filter the location on a campaign using a campaign Feed
based on the informations found in this documentation :
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/location-extensions/filtering-location-extensions#filtering_location_extensions

We're creating a campaignFeed targeting specific location's labels.  We're
getting an error regarding the matching function and the placeholder but we
seems to do exactly what it's in the documentation

Body: customer_id: "7714867186"
operations {
  create {
placeholder_types: LOCATION
matching_function {
  function_string: "CONTAINS_ANY(FeedAttribute[356967118,14],{\"S4M

campaign: "customers/7714867186/campaigns/17998583407"
  }

Daily report request limit

Hello, everyone. Please ask the Google ads API to limit the number of
requests to 1000 per day. What if the number of requests is not enough? The

Resource Exhausted, Too Many Requests from api_core and not googleads package

2022-03-15 Thread Hugo Bauer
Hi,

I have a problem/question with the Google Ads *Python* client, which
returns a google.api_core.exceptions.*ResourceExhausted* exception when I
request *KeywordPlanIdeaService* too often. I understand why the exception
is thrown, but is it normal for the *api_core* to return it?
Based on the documentation
<https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/samples/handle-rate-exceeded-error>,

the exception is catched with the GoogleAds client exception :
*google.ads.googleads.errors.GoogleAdsException*.
Moreover, the error with the delay is strangely encoded, impossible for me
to retrieve the waiting time except with a parser, which is not ideal. A
solution for this?

Regards,
Hugo

Re: UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR

2022-03-01 Thread 'Hugo Luna' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

We are experiencing the same issue for some of our clients.

The issue doesn't seem temporary, since yesterday every time we try the
call to " https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/mcm/v201809/CustomerService;
we consistently get the error:

[InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR @
com.google.ads.api.services.common.error.InternalApiError.(InternalApiErro]

While we understand that this endpoint will be sunsetting soon, We agree
100% with Outleads, that the api should be functional until the actual
sunset date

Everybody is working hard on doing the migration, but we still need to
provide continuous service to our mutual clients

I can reply in private with the example soap call and response if needed

Sincerely,
Hugo Luna

Using Google Ads API from browser - CORS

2021-07-01 Thread Hugo
Hello,

is it possible to use the Google Ads API from a JavaScript application
running in the browser?

I tried making a POST request to a URL like this to fetch campaigns for a
specific customer:
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v8/customers//googleAds:search

But I get a CORS error "...has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to
preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No
'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."

I know the request is correct, as I've tried it successfully using
cURL/Postman.

Thanks,
Hugo

GMB Location Extension and Google Local Campaign

2021-04-15 Thread Hugo Picard
Hello,

We're trying to add filtering on a Local Campaign to target specific
stores.To do so we're creating a campaignFeed to filterer the locations.
(GMB is linked to the GA account and the CustomerFeed is created and
active).

CampaignFeed campaignFeed = CampaignFeed.newBuilder()
.setFeed(#gmbFeedResourceName#)
.setCampaign(#myGoogleLocalCampaingRessourceName#)
.addPlaceholderTypes(PlaceholderType.LOCATION)
.setMatchingFunction(MatchingFunction.newBuilder().setFunctionString("CONTAINS_ANY(FeedAttribute[#FeedId#,14],

{\"#StoreLabel#\}")").build()
).build()

When doing the mutation we're getting this error :

Body: null
Failure message: errors {
  error_code {
function_error: INVALID_FUNCTION_FOR_PLACEHOLDER
  }
  message: "The matching function is not allowed for the specified
placeholder"
  trigger {
string_value: ""
  }
  location {
field_path_elements {
  field_name: "operations"
  index: 0
}
field_path_elements {
  field_name: "create"
}
field_path_elements {
  field_name: "matching_function"
}
  }
}

Are we doing something wrong ? Can we use campaignFeed with the Location
Placeholder on a Local Campaign. Strangely, it seems to work at the adgroup
level.

Thanks,

Hugo

Error updating a DSA page feed

2020-02-28 Thread Hugo Fellipe Lage Alvarães Da Cruz
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to update a DSA feed on my client's account with python (using this
as an example
)

by deleting the old pages an adding new ones.

Everything is ok on code-side, but when i check the page feed on the Google
Ads interface, my URLs get almost instantly "
Disapproved: Destination not working".

I checked on every web page I attached to the feed, and every on of them is
working properly (response code 200), even when I emulate Google headers,
or use urlfetch() on Google Apps Scripts.

I tried to upload a page feed manually (by a csv file) and it takes a
little longe to approve/dissapprove.

Does anyone know what can possibly be happening?

Adding remarketing-list to Google Ads Platform

2019-11-14 Thread Hugo
Hello ,

Is there a way to add a csv file directly to the platform ( in audiences
manager ) using the adwords API ( php library ) ?
My file has 6 columns ( email/country/first name/last name /phone /Zip ).
I saw that is possible to add a CRM-based user list but it is only possible
for one of those fields.
Am i getting this right ?

Thank you in advance ,

Hugo

+10.000 adgroups in a campaign, API won't load any more adgroups

2016-06-17 Thread hugo
Account ID: 563-341-7060

I got a campaign with 9.511 adgroups and my API don't want to load anymore
adgroups in this campaign.

I tried to delete all the adgroups that are not relevant anymore, but they
remain in the campaign with the 'delete' status.
Is it possible to delete them 'for real' so I can upload new ones? If it is
possible, would I still access the data for the previous period?

The only other option I see would be to create new campaign.

Thanks in advance for your answers.
Hugo

Get an empty list of campaigns for specific account

2015-06-10 Thread Hugo Wang
Hello,

We are using AdWords API v201502 to query data for one of our customers,
and the AWQL query is:

SELECT CampaignId, CampaignName FROM CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT DURING
20140101,20150610

And we got:

CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT (Jan 1, 2014-Jun 10, 2015)
Campaign ID\tCampaign
Total\t --

And the customer provide us a screenshot of their account (see attached
file).

Can anyone tell what's the possible reason of getting empty of campaigns?

Thanks,
Hugo

Thank you Anthony, it helped a lot!

 Hi Hugo,

 It appears you are trying to run a report on an MCC level. You will need
 to run it on an account level by adding that *Customer ID* in your
 properties file.

 The AdWords API documentation offers a way to report on multiple accounts.
