I dont fully understand why this is happening only with impressions and why 
aggregating metrics at product dimensions is bigger than doing it for 
campaign but i think i would need to live with that.

accumulated at different levels"?
Or to whom/where can I ask?

Base on the api documentation metrics.impressions in both reports have the 
same description.
How can i know the definition difference between impressions base on the 
report?

Performance Max report discrepancy

Hi,
I have a data report data discrepancy between campaign and 
shopping_performance_view

I add the queries executed for an especific day and a random campaign id 
just to show the executed queries.

select campaign.id, segments.date, segments.device, metrics.clicks, 
metrics.cost_micros, metrics.conversions, metrics.impressions 
from campaign where segments.date ='2022-07-01' and campaign.id=00

and 

select campaign.id, segments.date, segments.device, metrics.clicks, 
metrics.cost_micros, metrics.conversions, metrics.impressions 
from shopping_performance_view  where segments.date ='2022-07-01' and 
campaign.id=00


I would expect than metrics clicks, conversions, cost_micros and 
impressions in shopping performance are lower or equal than the total of 
the campaign but for some days (not all) the shopping performance 
impressions and/or shopping performance conversions are higher. I dont have 
the same issue for clicks and cost_micros.

Im not talking about a "few" impressions discrepancy, some days are around 
5% and others as said looks ok.

The values in Google Ads UI Console  match (exactly) with the ones im able 
to retrieve in campaign report. 
How is this possible?

ClickConversionResult in google ads api V10

Hi,
now that we can upload conversions with a gclid, gbraid or wbraid i have a 
doubt about ClickConversionResult in V10.

1- Method hasGclid is only true when the conversion is linked to a gclid or 
is also true when the conversion is linked to a gbraid or a wbraid?
If yes, would be great id the name is more generic in the next api versions.

2- About getGclid, getGbraid and getWbraid methods of the same class. When 
the upload was ok, one of them will return the value and the others an 
empty String ("") but never a null value, right?

looks like gbraid and wbraid are not included.

How can i download these clicks in a report?

CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT Migration

Hi, im trying to migrate CRITERIA_PERFORMANCE_REPORT from Google Adwords 
API to Google Ads API.
I know there is no an equivalente report and we need to use the specific 
criterion views but i have some doubts:
1- All criterions type have a report view?

2- Is there a documentation where we can see the views related with each

However, I tried regenerating a new refresh token but I also got the same 
error. I also tried regenerating a new client ID and client secret and then 
regenerating a new refresh token but it also didn't work.

invalid_grant: Bad Request

I am not able to make API calls, I am getting this error: 
google.auth.exceptions.RefreshError: ('invalid_grant: Bad Request', 
{'error': 'invalid_grant', 'error_description': 'Bad Request'})

Although I am following exactly all the steps required: I generated a 
developer token with a basic access, I Set up authentication via OAuth2 and 
generated a client id and client secret, I generated a refresh token. I 
inserted the developer token, client id, client secret and refresh token in 
the googleads.yaml file, however, whenever I try to run the getcampaigns.py 
file to make my first api call, I am getting the above error: 
google.auth.exceptions.RefreshError: ('invalid_grant: Bad Request', 
{'error': 'invalid_grant', 'error_description': 'Bad Request'})

Criteria Performance Report not matching results

Hi,

For Age criterions, Criteria performance report from adwords api is 
returning different results that real ones (comparing with Google Ads 
interface)

I attached 2 screenshot, one from Google Interface and other from API 
result.
I only attached the result for Tablet but its happening for all devices.
BTW: for other criterions (keywords, product partitions...) the API results 
are ok.

Offline Conversions missing in Google Ads

[SP]

Hi,
I use to upload offiline conversions on a daily basis and after some time 
the conversions start being visible in Google Ads and some hours later all 
conversions are there.

But today after more than 12 hours since the upload conversions are not 
visible.

I am upload them using Google Adwords Api and checking all the API 
responses i only have sucess response from the API.

If there something that im missing or other way to check even if the API 
return a sucess that the conversions were uploaded?

Bidding Strategy report issues

Hi!
Using ads-api V5 im trying to execute some reports to have bidding strategy 
data and i have these problems:

1- If the bidding strategy was created at MCC level instead of customer 
(terminal) level when i request some metrics, the query is failing and 
return "INVALID_ARGUMENT", for instance this query:

SELECT 
   bidding_strategy.id, 
   bidding_strategy.name, 
   bidding_strategy.type 
   metrics.conversions, 
   segments.date
FROM 
   bidding_strategy 
WHERE 
   bidding_strategy.type = 'TARGET_ROAS' 
   AND bidding_strategy.status = 'ENABLED' 
   AND segments.date DURING LAST_7_DAYS  

But as soon as i remove metrics from the query, its working.
Do you know what could be the error here? In Google ads UI i can see the 
metrics doesnt matter if the bidding strategy belongs to MCC or to a 
customer (terminal client).

2- When i want to recover the performance of a campaign or an adgroup 
filtegring by the bidding_strategy.id, then no results are returned.

campaign.id, 
campaign.name,
bidding_strategy.id,

Im adding an existing Bidding_strategy.id and also i hjave campaigns enable.

To make it work  i have to remove the bidding_trategy.id from where 
condiction and then, the only data returned related with bidding strategy 
is campaign.bidding_strategy (resource name 
as 
customers/whatever_customer_id/biddingStrategies/whatever_bidding_strategy_id) 
but bidding_strategy.id (and all the data related with bidding_strategy) is 
null/empty


Could you please help me to know what im doign wrong?

manage ads scripts through adwords api or with ads api (when you move it from 
beta to release version again).

Possible CriterionType for audience criterions and how to download information via reporting

Hi,

When an adGroup has active the audience (campaign or adgroup level) I am 
not able to recover all the criterions of this adgroup.

Some of them are USER_LIST CirterionType but I dont know which is the type 
for others.

If I recover all the criterions with the Criteria Performance Report (api 
v201806) these "missing" criterions are not there.
But I can get the performance of all the criterions with the Audience 
Performance Report, the problem is the CriterionType is not in this report 
(as far as I know).

I cannot classify for instance by type because i dont know their Criteria 
Type.
So my doubts are:

1- How can I download this information (criterion type)
2- Why these criterions are not recovered with the Criteria Performance 
Report
3- Which are the possible types for "audience  criterions"

Hi, when i request for AUDIENCE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT these columns in this 
*order*:
Id
AdgroupID

I receive in Id the adgroups values and in the other way around, the 
problem is fixed if i request
Adgroup
Id

Is this a problem in your side?

Price Benchmarks for shopping Ads

Hi, I just notice that Price Benchmarks kpis are available now in google 
ads (Average Product Price, Benchmark Product Price and Benchmark Product 
Price Difference).

These values are only available in Google ads interface? Which is the ads 
report in adwords api to download these values?

How to get the real URL of an ad

Hi, 

I want to retrieve the final URL that the customers can click in an ad.

I have the URL + custom parameter (using the tracking template to define 
the use/order)
for instance: www.mydomain.com/myshop/myproduct + {_trackingInfo}: {1}

And I want to obtain:  www.mydomain.com/myshop/myproduct/1

I try with landing page and final url report but with this report i have 
the final URL  (www.mydomain.com/myshop/myproduct) but not all the 
information at the same time,
there is a way to get it (all the URLs at the same time) with a report or 
API operation??

Why the display name of Criteria Performance Report ID is Keyword ID?

Hello,

I would like to know why the display name of Criteria Performance Report ID 
is Keyword ID?
As there is other field available criteria type and we can receive 
different criterions I don't understand why the ID is called keyword id 
when (I think) is criterion id.

with your anser I will understand better this report.

Trial campaigns move from promotion failed status

[SP]

Hi,

I am using the google adwords api v201708.
I have some trials campaigns and i change their status from ATIVE to HALTED 
(with TrialService).
I want reactivate them again so I change the status from HALTED to 
PROMOTING, but some of them failed and now are in PROMOTE_FAILED and now i 
cannot move from this status to any other.

After read the official documentation about it I don't know how to change 
this PROMOTE_FAILED status.
It is because this is an asynchronous process and somehow these campaigns 
will automatically move to PROMOTED?
If not, how can I change this PROMOTED_FAILED status?

How to filter trial campaigns

Hi!

I'm using this google adwords api version: v201705

I need to filter the trial (experiments) campigns to be able to retreive 
only the standalone campaings,
i'm trying using SelectorBuilder.equals operation with something like this:

equals(Campaign.Id, Campaign.baseCampaignId) 

but with that I cannot retreive any campaign at all,

how can I filter the trials campaigns to be able to only retreive the 
standalone campaings?

Set new cpc bid in keyword criterion level

Hi,

I have a doubt about the bidding behaviour with new adwords api version 
(v201705).

As far as I see in official documention now we cannot assign the bidding 
strategy in keyword criterion level 
(https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/bidding) but I tried 
to set new CpcBid values in a keyword criterion level and seems like 
nothing changed, e.g

...
BiddingStrategyConfiguration.setBids(bids) // new bids with the new amount
BiddableAdGroupCriterion.setCriterion(keyword criterion)
...
AdgroupCriterionOperation.setOperand(BiddableAdGroupCriterion)
...

So, although the bidding strategy is not available in keyword criterion 
level, this way to change cpc amounts for keywords is still valid?
