How to get Keyword Stats without creating campaign , adgroup or keyword 
resources? is it compulsory that we need to create this all resources to 
get keywords traffic stats?

are seeing any discrepancy, please elaborate your concern and share the

Perhaps related to this question - it looks like the existing Adwords API 
is returning STATS (RequestType.STATS) only up until March 2019 (even when 
called today).
I understood that the API should provide fresh information through 2019 - 
am I missing something?

range)”, Competition (indexed value), Organic average position (“Organic 
avg. position”), Organic impression share (“Organic impr. share”) misisng 
from new UI

The *Keywords you provided* is not available via API. The
KeywordPlanIdeaService.GenerateKeywordIdeas will return only the Keyword
ideas of the seed keywords you provided but not the seed keywords itself.
Instead to get the stats of the seed keywords you can add them to the
KeywordPlanKeyword
  
and

use KeywordPlanService.GenerateHistoricalMetrics

One under heading *Keywords you provided *and second* Keyword ideas.*

Is there any method, so that I can get only Keywords you provided section

Regarding the KeywordPlanService.GenerateHistoricalMetrics, you have to
create a KeywordPla
n
and should have KeywordPlanKeyword
  
first.

You should be able to update the KeywordPlan using the KeywordPlanService
.MutateKeywordPlans

.

Regarding the KeywordPlanIdeaService.GenerateKeywordIdeas, you don't need
to have a keyword plan. Just update the keyword and location information as
you used to do with the AdWords API. This is the only service which does
not require a Keyword Plan to be created because it provides keyword
suggestions to assist with the plan creation. You could refer here

For this service to use I need to Add Keywords Plan first?

This is not required earlier, and If I need to Add Keywords Plan Should I
change it to something else? How I can update same once added?

Also In addition to above question.

I only need to have Ideas that is same as UI like under UI Keywords you 
provided and Keyword ideas(This I can get 
using KeywordPlanIdeaService.GenerateKeywordIdeas)
But Keywords you provided is something I need.

I am using this service to generate some Ideas for keywords, so I need to 
update the Location and keywords.

For every new Idea/Location I need to have different Keyword Plan?

TargetingIdeaService RequestType STATS with Google Ads API

Hi,

I am not seeing equivalent to get only Stats for Supply keywords same as We 
can do with Adwords API TargetingIdeaService with request Type = STATS.
I can only get the RequestType = IDEAS with new Google Ads API.

Let me know how I can do same?

TargetingIdeaService : RequestType::STATS set MatchType

In old api we are use to set MatchType while getting stats using targeting 
idea

This is my code for latest api... but I am not able to set MatchType to get 
stats.. could you please help me that how to do in latest api?

TargetingIdeaService - requestType IDEAS or STATS - incorrect search volume

Hi Guys

When using the TargetingIdeaService for a specific country, exact match, the 
local search volume is different if you toggle between IDEAS or STATS.  In 
other words, when using IDEAS, and iterating through the suggestions, and 
finding the exact match of keyword entered (when the generate related 
keyword matches the input keyword), the search volume is nearly 3 times more 
than when using STATS on that keyword

Which is correct?

Hi Jack,

IDEAS will use the keywords in the request to generate related
keywords, and include those plus the source keywords in the response.
STATS will only return results for the keywords in your request.
Basically if you just want stats about known keywords use the STATS
request type, but if you want to generate new keywords then use IDEAS.
