Unfortunately we cannot create Lightbox ads 
 via API. The 
list of template ads supported by the API are provided here 
. 
Please keep an eye on the Google Ads developer blog 
 for any 
updates and information related to future releases.

Template elements documentation for Lightbox ad.

I am getting Ad type for the 'Lightbox ad'  as a 'template_ad' and 
template_id as 490.

But the 
documentation(https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/templateads)
 
does not have any information for either 'Lightbox ad' or template_id 490. 
Would like to know what are the valid template elements types and its 
values for 'Lightbox ad'.
