It's nothing to do with the switches themselves, we use Netonix a lot and 
recommend them to anyone looking for a PoE switch. The 24 port is just too big 
for what we need.
We got them when we fist started using Netonix thinking that we would use a lot 
more of the 24 ports than we do. What we found is that we are only really using 
the 12 port version. And where we need more we end up just doubling up two 
12's. The 24 port is just overkill at 99% of our tower sites.
