We have a mid-range Dyson (D 25?) I don't recall the exact model number,
but my wife loves it. She brags about it all the time. I'm kind of

but you must clean the filter periodically.

A very good product.

Oreck upstairs, very light, uses bags though.

I can do my entire first floor in under 20 mins and still have plenty of

chairs/couches/tables, and was impossible to clean.  Hair would get 
would around all the brushes.  Spent more time cleaning the Roomba than 
it spent on the floor.

one lost part for free, the pet fur attachment is amazing (it will tear
delicate fabric)

the brand is solid, so really youd base your model on the features you want

I gave one to the old lady on one of those gift days (Christmas, birthday,
mothers day, valentines) dont recall which one, but she was ecstatic. you
know its a good product when a woman is excited youre acting like a sexist
ruffian on holiday.
