The monoprice amp its kind of deceivingŠ I was having trouble with mine,
the volume control was not working correctly.  I opened it and realized
that the tubes are for the preamp only, the amp has a big fat coloidal
transformer and transistorsŠ

Had to basically ³recrimnp² the potentiometer to get the volume control
fixed.
