What is the promotion? What models? On Tue, Feb 20, 2018 at 11:08 AM, Stefan Englhardt <s...@genias.net> wrote: > They have a promotion for the 5Gbps Model running. Exactly what I was wondering too. Talk about vague... On 2/20/18 7:38 AM, ch...@wbmfg.com wrote: I wonder what the real world distance usability is for this.

They have a promotion for the 5Gbps Model running. On their website is a link calculator. In our region 2.5km is ok with 2ft. Longer does need a fallback link. Cant modulate much . Re: [AFMUG] Siklu Announces New 10 Gigabit
Similar to any other e-band radio, I would imagine. Judging from the calculations I've done/had done, trying to get much more than a mile seems to be pushing it, if you want decent availability (around here anyway, you might be able to get a bit more out of it in Utah). There have been other 10Gig 70/80ghz radios out there for awhile... I almost bought one from Bridgewave last year when they were running a special, but we decided it made more sense to go with the 3Gig one instead.
