I become a candidate for Registrar.

I have worked hard on making the Registrar's obligations easy to
fulfil. Is that selfish? Yes. No. I don't know. It is motivated by my
sloth and love for programming.

The thing is: today, my setup works well. But it is not robust, and not
prone to easy extension. I am planning on refactoring it all to make it
usable even to people not so keen on programming.

Part of this is not only making the generation of reports easier,
but also the automation of no-trigger actions like deactivating silent
players. Besides, I'm working on a standard format for logs, so that not
only player history is recorded, but all actions pertaining to eir coming
and going. Hopefuly, if I do a good job, this will be my legacy to Agora.

So I ask of you all another term so I can continue doing the good job
I think I'm doing, while at the same time ensuring the integrity
of current and future Registrar records – which, despite being a
low-complexity office as per the AdoP's listing, is I believe one of
the most important in the game.

What political power? Yes, I've said "please don't do X before because
it'd be a pain for me", but anybody else would do the same.

Also, me ceasing to be Rulekeepor would have no change on my voting
strength, as the bonus is capped.

This simply isn't true. The Assessor's job is not to look at the text of
proposals, and I don't. The distributions are parsed into the format I
need using a script, and I don't look at the text of the output. G. has
previously said e also didn't look at proposal text as Assessor, because
there's no reason to.

Please don't imagine you're doing this on my account. I wouldn't mind
something like that vacations proto that was floated a while back, but
I'd rather not give up the office in its entirety.

I think that this position has gone unchallenged for awhile, and awkwardly
holds a lot of informal political power, in addition to high compøexity for
voting strength. In addition, having the office separate from the assessor
will improve visibility and review of the adopted proposals that amend the
ruleset. Finally, Janet deserves a vacation and respect for the hard work
thrust upon her for the several years she's done the job, which was
originally thrust upon her by an unmotivated player base.

I hope the race is close for dramatic effect, but I am serious about my
desire to be Rulekeepor.

I become a candidate in the Treasuror election.

As far as I know, there are no other people interested in taking this 
job. If there are, you should still choose me because I am consistent 
and correct. I get reports out very consistently and I am mostly correct 
most of the time.


That notice saying that I publish drafts to Discord and IRC? That's not 
a joke. My fact-checkers catch most things that need to be CoE'd. In an 
office where so many things change every week, I make sure people get to 
take a look for themselves. This serves to help my consistency and 
correctness.


My final point is that I would also like to continue developing my 
Treasuror software. It's a fun project.
