My memory is that we have something on the cfj books where "amount of a currency" is inherently in the units of that currency and excludes numbers outside of that? Is "common sense" here that they fail (because it's not an amount of an actual currency) or that they round up and thus loophole the unique bid part? I think "fail", personally. Minimum bid increments are a thing in "common auction definitions" and if the regs don't specify a minimum increment, 1 currency unit is a reasonable understanding. -G.
