Yes, That exactly is the purpose of Sugamya Pustakalaya. No matter who prepares 
the books, all users will get all their books from a single platform. This also 
is aan enabler to University enabling units and public library or any 
organization providing services to end users near them. All such libraries can 
register their members on Sugamya Pustakalaya and provide any book to them that 
exists on the platform.

 

The Sugamya Pustakalaya also has a provision to put in your request so that 
libraries could  take up production of these books in accessible format and 
make them available on the online library platform.

For paid membership people have to register through the form link. Paid 
membership gives dedicated service and early access to the materials. Students 
preparing for the exams seriously should not be logging in at different places

1. Nakilat organises bowling competition for the visually impaired.
Nakilat recently organised a bowling session for the visually impaired
in co-operation with the Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the
Blind. Volunteers from Nakilat acted as guides, some of them were
blindfolded during the session to better appreciate the challenge of
bowling without the sense of sight. Bowling is one of the few sports
that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities, and blind
bowling has proven to be very popular with the use of guide rails.
Nakilat Administration Director Rashid Hamad al Marri said:"We are
indeed very fortunate to be able to learn and experience, although in
a small portion, the challenges the visually impaired face and how
admirably they overcome these in their daily lives. This gathering of
Nakilat employees and those from the Qatar Social and Cultural Center
for the Blind has been a wonderful opportunity to promote inclusivity
and give back to society. Nakilat is also committed to giving back to
the community through its various outreach programmes outlined within
its corporate social responsibility (CSR) pillars of community,

I agree.
I believe there cannot be and should not be equality for disability.
Relevant differences are ignored in the name of equality.
Substantive equality demands sameness as well as difference should be duly 
recognized.
But I am afraid even here, the test of intelligible differentia and rational 
nexus for different treatment is often contingent upon the person applying it 
and judges adjudicating it, and disabled stand to loose out, always.

I don't have a ready solution for this.

People who are totally blind, depends on screen readers on various platforms.
VoiceOver, a default screen reader, on iOS (ipads, iphones etc( is The best
way to transform the digital content from text to speach which helps to
access every letter displayed on the screen.

But
the biggest drawback is thisvoice-over does not read few regional
languages.
One among them is Telugu.

Now this is an appeal to Apple to overcome this drawback to make telugu
accessible.

though this consern is for visually challenged users,

as per my knowledge there is a major software update going on in bank
of baroda that is they are upgrading from finacle 7 to finacle 10 .
this software update is coming nearly after a decade.
so it is quite likely for customers to face certain issues regarding
service for near future .
I am not an employee of bob but assure you that being a customer of
bob since 9 years I have not faced any problem with the organization .

I do it another way to delete sfk files. I press ctrl+e or f3 key on the 
folder containing sfk file. In the resultant search box I type sfk and wait 
a second or two. All .sfk files are listed from the folder. I simply use 
ctrl+a and then del key to delete all of them.


I suggest keeping those .smil files intact. These are daisy files.

[Ai] bank of Baroda internet banking help

hi,
last month i opened a savings account in the mentioned bank requesting
all services. i received my debit card and an e mail with my internet
log in name a few days later.
however, it has been over a month since the net banking user name came
in and no further instructions on the pin to start operating the same.
contacting the branch gets me responses ranging from not received from
the Baroda connect to systems not working to Baroda connect being
swamped with net banking requests to sort my issue out.
they are not even saying i need to generate my own pin and tell me how.
any suggestions from the BOB employees/users on this list to break
this stalemate will be much appreciated.

Hey users, I am using Kurzweil 1000 version 14, in Lenovo thinkpad
X270 laptop running on windows 10. I am experiencing a considerable
lag in Kurzweil 1000 while performing any task. For instance, if I
press f7 to read current sentence, it responds after 2 - 3 seconds.
therefore I am having difficulty in reading my books. I want to know
whether anyone facing such issue? if yes, what is the solution for
this problem.
