Don’t talk to me about Sound Blaster <mile>. I’m a little disappointed with the Audio HD device I purchased. Every other device has no trouble with the digital output of my Cable box but the Audio HD from Sound Blaster just refuses to play ball. Now perhaps I’m over reacting and perhaps the Sound Blaster Audio HD is only designed to be used with certain Audio Digital sources but I did expect a little better than that. No, the Soundblaster Audio HD doesn’t support surround-sound given its a straight stereo audio HD device but I would have thought that it would have supported digital out from a cable Set Top Box or television. Anyway besides all that the Soundblaster HD Audio is a very nice piece of kit and a very cheap way of bringing Digital music from your computer to your Hi-Fi setup, you certainly get far better quality audio out of this than your usual computer sound card. The headphone amp is also very good.
