Hi Simon
Are these samples (3 in all) enough to explain the problem?
Just to add, the documents that I work with mainly are 20-60 pages, in landscape
using arial, lots of tabs.
It also happens on smaller docs that I have in normal portrait.

I think this issue deserves a higher priority than P4.
Based on your priorities I think it is definitely P2.

When editing documents it happens continuously and would occur on at least every
2nd page when scrolling. Even when highlighting a word it highlights the word
on the line below instead which is a pest.

It was suggested by a support member that CTRLSHIFTR refreshes the screen.
Yes, it does but I have to do it all the time.

Please review or come back to me if you need to understand the problems it
creates.

It's hard to describe except that the video gets screwed up. The cursor and the
line you are editing aren't is same place.

This happens when scrolling up and down pages.
Scrolling also fixes the corruption.

Documents are only up to 60 pages.

I have sample image, but it can get much worse than the sample.

I thought was video card and purchased a new one - same problem.

Also does on other PC and laptop, 4 computers in all that I tested.

I see this issue has been around now for almost 4 years.

Is a solution in the wind?

As it is a pain in the butt and so is the temporary solution as I have to do it
on almost every page I work on.

This matter is urgent as I can't us OO on the main user of the computer and I
have a backlog of work that can't be easily done with OO crashing.
From looking on the web it seems that others are having the same issue and none
seem to have a resolution.
Please let me at least know that this issue has been read and what is happening
to resolve it.
Regards
Allan

After MS update and reboot on Wednesday night OO now crashes into recovery mode
when opening an existing document. I have only tried Text document and
Spreadsheet.
What happens is that the document opens and a few seconds after it crashes and
tries to recover the document. The problem is that it says the recovery is okay
and then goes straight back into recovery mode and continues in that loop unless
I press cancel.
This only seems to happen on one user on this PC the other user seems fine and
opens the same documents okay.
The same documents also open fine on another PC.
I have uninstalled OO and reinstalled, but same result.
I have also copied the C:\Documents and Settings\Allan\Application
Data\OpenOffice.org\3 directory from the good user to the user that crashes, but
it still crashes.
New documents open okay, but as soon as I type in the document it crashes into
usual recovery mode.
Please help
Thanks
