There are a minor problem with the footnotes when saving a Writer document as
HTML.
The style sets the font size as A.sdfootnoteanc { font-size: 57% }
and then the use of this is
A CLASS=sdfootnoteanc NAME=sdfootnote1anc
HREF=#sdfootnote1symSUP1/SUP/A
This makes the link to the footnote almost unreadable.
A better layout will be to use the SUP tag also in the footnote at the bottom
of the page.
Suggestion:
1. Change the style CLASS to A.sdfootnoteanc { font-size: 80% } or remove the
class
2. Add the SUP tag to the footnote at the bottom of the page.

Or still. If I fixed it in OO, saved it with OO, then open it again in OO, I expect it to be as I last had it. But no, screwed up. Been happening in several versions of OO. When the Presentation Wizard appears, press Create. 3. Center the cursor in the body of the default slide and left click. The default text disappears. 4. Copy an image with CTRL-C and paste it into the slide with CTRL-V. 5. Save the file as type .ppt. A warning appears. I selected “Keep Current Format”. 6. Close the file in Impress. Check scalability in MS Power Point 1. Open the file with MS Power Point. 2. Grab the top drag handle. Sliding to the bottom right scales the image smaller. Sliding to the top left increases its size. As a variation, I created the presentation from a metafile file 1. In a blank Impress document,from the menu, select Insert - Picture - From File; In the file open dialog select the attached file. BlueStar.wmf 2. The image appears with green drag handles at each corner and at the midpoints of the edges. 3. Save the file as type .ppt. A warning appears. I selected “Keep Current Format” 4. Getting zero in GetBetaDist doesn't come from lcl_GetBetaHelperContFrac but
because of missing an underflow case. I have added that case.
2.
When q^n and p^n both underflow, the value of BINOMDIST or B respectively is
calculated by approximation with beta distribution. This gives an accuracy of
about 13 decimal digits. This is the really new part in my patch. [Sheet no

When p is near 1 then q=1-p has severe cancellation errors. But nothing can be
done, because when the interpreter gets the value p it is already in binary
double and the correct decimal value cannot be reconstructed. [Sheet small n]

The current solution has a line fSum = 1.0-fFactor and than subtracts values in
a loop. This leads to errors, when fFactor machine epsilon. I detect this case
and use sum up instead. [Sheet constant value]

The sum up parts can result in values greater than 1. Such values are impossible
for cumulative distribution functions. I force the value to 1 in those cases.

The mass function is used inside BINOMDIST and in B. Therefore I separate it

I have changed ULONG (now sal_uLong) to sal_int32. This will work-and has until
now-, because higher values of n will not reach the for-loop because p^n and q^n
will underflow.

The current version calculates with denormalized values of fFactor. This gives
wrong results for fFactor near zero. I use the threshold
::std::numeric_limitsdouble::min() instead. [Sheet B range]

Calculations near the thresholds ::std::numeric_limitsdouble::min() and
fMachEps might not be optimal. But I think, that it is not worth to detect
whether for example 1E-308 would be a better threshold than
::std::numeric_limitsdouble::min().

Calculation of cases B(n;p;n-k;n) are wrong in case q^n underflow. In this cases
the summand p^n is missing. I have rewritten the loops and initializations in
lcl_GetBinomDistRange. I use:

But, you are loved. Here is my problem I have a great application that creates wonderful reports. Unfortunately it has two faults 1) it only prints the reports and 2) there are numerous spelling and sentence structure problems. I have mentioned this to the developer and at some point in the future their will be some fixes but I need them now. So, my first thought was get a print to PDF engine, which works great, but for some reason Acrobat does not have the capabilities to fix the problems in a time efficient manner. Then I found a print to XML engine oh joy in an editor I fix most of the errors. But, I would like to do more. My thought was to embed the XML code into an ODT. Unfortunately I just do not have the understanding to follow the instructions that I have found, I have no idea what my classpath is or what do I do with Apache Xerces. What do I do with SAXEcho.bat does it go in my C:\, do I put it in my OpenOffice directory, or do I just double click it when I need it? So, I humbly ask if there is some one who will have mercy and give me simple to follow instructions on what to do either via Windows XP or Ubuntu to move my report into a document I can use in OpenOffice 3.2 version.
