I also tried with the attached one and add more pictures as well that I update
an existing. Closing and reopening doesn't lead to any crash but I use a simply
changed source base where an error inside hsqldb doesn't lead to a crash as
before. See issue 111624 for more information.

I made additional tests on win7, with OOO320_m14.
I used existing test odb file with Image[LONGVARBINARY], and Binary[VARBINARY]
fields with form image control.
I used sample1.tif 4,6MB, sample2.tif 2,8MB, sample4.tif 1,3MB and sample5.tif
15,5 MB; sample files found in win7 user/Picture folder.
I can insert all files into VARBINARY field without problems.
I can insert without problem sample1,2,4 files into LONGVARBINARY, but with
sample5.tif I has a problem. When I saved record I get, error:
Error updating the current record

SQL Status: S1000
Error code: 40

S1000 General error java.util.NoSuchElementException in statement [SELECT * FROM
Pictures WHERE Pictures.ID = ?]

When closed file, and tried to open table data view, I get error:
The data content could not be loaded.

SQL Status: S1000
Error code: 40

S1000 General error java.util.NoSuchElementException in statement [SELECT * FROM
Pictures]

I closed file, reopened and I can see all images in for witouth any problem and
can open table data view.

Next I created new file with OOO320m14, same data types When I inserted
sample5.tif into form LONGVARBINARY filed, form freezes no error message, but
can close it, the table data view not opens, after closing file everything
works.

No crash during tests.

@ what size and type of picture you inserted into your database?

More tests:
I added these files in this order, into two fields(VARCHAR, LONGVARCHAR),
similar to earlier new database, created in OOO320m14.
This 3,2 MB file http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view_rec.php?id=2485
This 1,7 MB file: http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view_rec.php?id=20944
This 7,1 MB file http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view_rec.php?id=2429
(All pictures in hi-res.)
Added without problem, then closed file, opened back, error when clicked on
table pane or try to open form: Out of Memory.
No crash.
The odb file size is 59MB.
I opened odb file with zipper, in database folder only log and properties
present, log file size 98MB.

I tested on OOo 3.2 and DEV300m75, the database cause crash when open forms,
that is not form issue.
Click to table pane open table, crash in both version.

I created new odb file with OOo 3.2, copied database folder into new file, crash
when click on table.

Same crash, if I converted to new database format with hsqldb19 cws OOo (hsqldb
2.0.0RC9) engine.

@ydu What size of picture you inserted into this database?

Can't edit or use form to edit my Database.
After Image has been inserted in database, I can save the base.
Reopening database, I'm unable to edit/change database.
The only way to solve this, is to alter database to delete the Column with
image :-(

With smaller images inserted, all seem's to be ok.
What's the limit in size ? is there a workaround to this.

Will join my database...
